BET Awards 2010 honors Prince
by MsDucky inhttp://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20100628/music_nm/us_bet_2.
wearing white trousers and turtleneck, prince took the stage, thanked the crowd and said, "i do believe the future is in good hands, i've seen so much talent here tonight.. "i was pretty wild in my younger days and you don't have to do what i do," he said, with a smile.
"you don't have to make any of the mistakes that i made.

RR, I also had George Warienchuk (Evelyn was his wife).
Yes that's them. I use to call him blinky, cause he was always blinkling his eyes. He was a missionary, white man living in a foreign country whether the Witnesses treated him like a god. Then one day his elderly parents get too old to take care of themselves and he had to leave his assignment because his siblings who lived in the USA wouldn't take care of them. So he was bitter, because he went from being a god in a foreign country to becoming a slave in the USA.
He didn't like me much. This was doing the so called apostasy days in the Jersey City area, and they all thought I was the ring leader, butr had no proof. I remember working with him in field service and he was bad mouthing Ray Franz as a person who was draing a following after himself.
I left Jersey City and the Witnesses and moved to Somerset County, ten years later I was delivering mail to a home in Bridgewater, NJ and lo and behold I had mail for George Warienchuk. He answered the door half dead, I don't think he knew if he was coming or going. I said "Hi Br. George Warienchuk, here's your mail" and walked away. He had no idea who I was, even though he was one of the many to investigate the claims of widespread apostasy in the Jersey City area.

RL Jones. He was very nice.
Hmmmm .... was that Robert Jones, a black brother? I may have known him. If it was, he was a bethelite, who served as a P.O. in my congregation in the Bronx, NY.
I also had Langely and Warenchuck (sp). LKangely eventually became DO in New Jersey. I didn't care for him much. He came to New Jersey, the hall we had was an old house, there was an elderly couple who lived upstairs and took care of the premises, he was also an elder. When the Langely's came, they made them move out, and they took over the apartment, which as you know is only a temporary residence for a CO. I felt bad for this couple.

Has the WTS removed the 'offending' publications? Or just retired them due to time?
by AK - Jeff ini seem to recall the earlier versions of watchtower cd-rom containing books from the 50's and 60's [life everlasting in the freedom of the son's of god - babylon the great has fallen - etc].
i have no cd predating 2001 now in my possession - and looked at that one today doing research, finding that virtually nothing pre-1970 is there [except the revised/altered 'truth' book].. is my memory faulty on this?
could it be that they just 'retired' the older pubs innocently?

I have all the WT CD's and they tend to change with each edition. Some books are not listed and when I new edition of a book is issued, the old one is removed.
