i know the answer, because i am agnostic.
it is strange to me that people assume if you say you are agnostic that it means you don't believe in god.
from wiki.... agnostics claim either that it is not possible to have absolute or certain knowledge of the existence or nonexistence of god or gods; or, alternatively, that while individual certainty may be possible, they personally have no knowledge.
The distinction is really quite simple.
An agnostic doesn’t actually believe in God. He just hasn’t completely closed the door to some sort of surprise. Basically, an agnostic is an atheist without any balls – my apologies to my agnostic friends. I can say this because I’m not worried about being beaten up by agnostics, because well, they don’t have any balls.

Baptism most certainly is of pagan origin and pre-dates Christianity.
However, the most obviously pagan observance of them all is communion (the memorial). Eating the flesh and drinking the blood of your god dates back to the earliest forms of totemism.
But, Mother's Day, now that's bad. We have to draw the line somewhere.
we went shopping this afternoon, my two little girls and i, on the way home, they were both excitedly talking about halloween.
my youngest, who is seven, lets out this comment that nearly had me veering off the road with laughter.
she said, "i know what i want to be for halloween already, a jehovah's witness" well, i started to laugh right away, my eldest girl asked her why, she says, "they knock on people's door all the time and they are really scary".
The first time my daughter ever went trick or treating, her best friend explained at every door that this was her first time because she used to be a Jehovah's Witness.
They really cleaned up that year.

it has always puzzled me why abel, a herder of sheep, would want to kill his own animals to offer them up to god.. prior to the flood, it would be fair to say that no one ate meat.
