PS: I forgot to mention that the 12 year old should be forced to describe the intimate details to at least three middle aged men, who will later on visit her for personal "counseling".

Cases involving minors
by TheMatrix inmany on this forum criticize elders as being incompetent.
i've know a few myself, but you must agree that there are also very good elders also.. well, here is a case and i would like to know what you would do if you were an elder.. a fourteen (14) year old male has sex with a twelve (12) year old female.
the female confesses to her parents and the parents report to the elders.

You guys have got the answer all wrong. It is really very simple.
First of all, you ask the boy if he did it. If he says "no", just ignore it and tell the girl and her family to keep quiet, or you will disfellowship them. (After all, she is only one Witness)
If he says "yes", you tell them both to keep quiet, or you will disfellowship them. Then you give the boy a slap on the wrist (say, no commenting for the first three paragraphs of Sundays WT study).
This prevents any reproach from coming on Jehovah's organization, of which you are a prince.
All done.

Will It Make Any Difference?
by Dutchie inthe fact is that all of us became jehovahs witnesses despite the fact that the wtbts has always had a pretty shady past that included false prophesies, questionable behavior by its leaders, twisted scriptures and the like.
i could, of course, be wrong but it seems to me that in spite of everything that is happening at this time, there are still needy people who will accept the crap they expound and join the organization.
it will continue to grow and prosper.

Well, there are people willing to join, but I wouldn't say there are "plenty". Baptisms in Canada are down to 2000 per year (mostly kids), from their peak of over 5000 just a few years ago. Actual conversions are nearly zero.
It is true that the corruption and stupidity of the Society was just as great in the past as it is in the present. However, never before has there been a medium to highlight this stupidity to interested and disaffected ones.

I see the Watchtower has been caught in its own lie, yet again. Their website states that 18-20 years ago we didn't have the "body of knowledge...to say that this is something that will harm your child emotionally."
Well, 1986 was 16 years ago, and they seemed to know that child molesting was wrong then.
Thanks for the helpful quote. It strings them up rather nicely.

OUT OF THE MOUTHS OF JW BABES...........
by deddaisy inthis is addressed to the jw lurkers.....according to my brother, who is a devout jw, no "good" witness would be found on this site....but since he's a jw, we'll assume he's naive....... dear jehovah's witness:.
my family, whom i love, is comprised of jehovah's witnesses.
i was never baptised, as anything, but attended meetings for years, until i turned eighteen.

The answer to the question "Do you believe that you are the only ones who will be saved?", is an example of an insider/outsider doctrine, which is common to many cults.
Outsiders, who presumably are not ready for the true story, will read that statement and think that JW's are rather tolerant. Insiders read it and understand that the supporting text indicates that they really do believe that only they will be saved.
The same thing can be found in the "JW's in the 20th Century booklet". The question "are you here to convert me?" is asked, and a clear "No" answer is given, even though they really are at your door to convert you.

Here is the plan
by the follower inok... here is the plan.
i moved to this congregation years ago, but when i came it was the same secretary then as it is now.
when i arrived he just said "here is my address, give it to the secretary in your old congregation and tell him to send me your records.

If you do get caught, I don't think you will be disfellowshipped. This is not that serious of an offence. Besides, you can just say it was an honest mistake and have the records sent correctly.
Here is another idea. Pick a congregation out of the phone book, where you do not know anyone. Call the congregation, and tell the secretary that you will be moving there. Give a fake address in their territory. Have him send for your records. Never show up. A couple months later, do it again, sending the records even further away. They will be glad to unload you.
Once your records are sent, they will be pretty much orphaned in the new congregation, where no one will know who you are or how to contact you.
You won't be congregationless, but you will be basically lost in the system. -

The official policy for transferring records, is that the secretary of the new congregation should request them from the secretary of the old congregation. So, your plan should not work, unless you can count on some sloppy procedures.
It is possible that, since the two secretaries have been in recent contact, the sender may not worry about receiving the request. However, the change of address would send up a red flag.
Anyway, it's worth a try.

I see you are "buying out the opportune time". You know, you can still enjoy your life and drop in here from time to time.
By the way, that site has a bzillion poems on it. Which one is yours?

I certainly hope the JW's suffer the same eventuality as their forerunners, the Waldenses and Anabaptists - extinction.
