how can you read all of the info on this forum regarding un scandal, alleged paedophilia, failed prophecies, u-turn on blood etc.

and not have your conscience affected before jehovah.

30 years ago- long before the 90 pre-baptism questions.

i wondered how the questions now come up to scrutiny with the way various countries are dealing with religions.

rev 18:4 warns us to "get out of her my people.......",

if we are/were his people, we would have got out of babylon the great before entering the ranks of jehovah's witnesses.

the question is - why is he saying my people, who are the " my people" that he is talking to and where are such ones to "get out from" ?

Elders to discuss Rand Cam - Info Req'd

2 elders are visiting us next friday 11 oct.. i urgently need some information on how i can obtain original documents regarding the rand cam shares.. i have printed out loads of earlier discussions from this forum, (thanks to everyone involved for all the hard work) but i need to have some authentic material on hand, because that's obviously what they are going to ask for.

does anyone have a phone number where i can obtain this information ?

Do we need elders in the 21st cent.?

it would appear from scriptures that jehovah is dealing with an organisation???

(i am not defending anything or anyone here) my query is:-.

if we can be accepted as individual christians in the sight of jehovah, please can anyone explain the scriptures in titus and timothy regarding "reaching out for office of overseer",(servants and elders) .

Do not forsake the gathering together ?

we feel that "the hand on the shoulder" and "the knock on the door" could be imminent.

question - if we become a christian rather than a jw how do we view hebrews 10:23-25 "do not forsake the gathering of ourselves together....... as the day draws near".

this is a question that is bugging us at the moment.
