  All these cases banging on WT's door.

  What I think will hsppen is that one will find the formula to be successful - the situation that existed, who was responsible, all counter arguments dismissed - then a precedent has been set.

  Given a successful prosecution I believe the dam will open then burst all over the world.

  The WTBTS may then find new light for titheing.

  The WT have very many issues where they take multiple positions in the publications. It's very clever as regards the rank and file who generally do not look too deeply when shown from a publication what they must be doing.

  It's not so clever in a court of law where WT dogma is not king, the elders have no authority and the prosecution teams are educated and analytical.

  The Soc are firm in their teaching that everyone lower than a CO are not representatives of the WTBTS.

  Our ministry is a personal ministry, and congregations must not use WT logos or letterheads.

  They try to draw a clear line.

  Question for Current or Former Elders (baptism of minors)

  i have joint custody of my two children with my ex husband who is still raising the kids on his time as jws.

  my 11 year old claims she is getting baptized at the next assembly.

  i have heard that i can write a letter to the boe and say that i oppose her getting baptized before she is 18. is that true?

  I don't know the answer, but they will happily use theocratic warfare against you. In this case they would tell you one thing but still go ahead and baptise her.

  I'd be looking at sending a solicitors letter.

  based on your experience of judicial committees, how would you advise someone who is due to meet with the elders and has asked for the best way to avoid being disfellowshipped?

  is denying everything ever a successful strategy?

  does addressing a letter to the elders threatening legal action if they disfellowship ever work?

  The BOE will be looking for 'works' of repentance.

  If you stole something, did you make recompense.

  If it was adultery, did you tell the innocent party.

  If it was drugs, did you go to get proper help, etc.

  This is a BIG factor in displaying the magnitude if your repentance.
