Four Blood Moons might be significant
by CharlieSmith1975 inhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuqzhnx7xma.
the bible does say that the "day of jehovah" (armageddon) would be associated with the sun becoming dark followed by the moon turning to blood.
but the moon turning to blood is specific to a total lunar eclipse.

Neanderthal man
by scary21 inmy ex husband and father of my daughter was never baptized but is still a believer in the wt.. a couple years ago we were talking about evolution ( which he does not believe in ) i brought up the subject of the neanderthals and how we all have their dna except africans ( the ones that never left africa ).
he said neanderthals are apes and not humans and jw's do not teach that they are humans.
i said i believe they do.. in the life- how did it get here book, under the sub heading " the human family "is says " neanderthal man....... was undoubtedly human.. his response was " they are just talking about what other people believe " ahhhhh .

Tower of Babel—unlikely to be a true account!
by abiather inwhen his children want to construct a tower that reaches to the heavens, heavenly father is unlikely to respond, saying: nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.
come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.
(gen 11:6, 7).

What are two reasons often given as to why God may have confused the languages?
1. To stop the building of the tower / city.
2. To disperse people across the world. Why do those two reasons lack logic?
1. If building tall towers or large cities is wrong, why has God permitted it since? Did man get the upper hand on God after all?2. If the languages were not confused at that time, would the entire population of the world today all live in one place, or would people naturally want to (or be forced to) explore, move and find their own land?

OK CharlieSmith1975 you have convinced me.
Now tell me what exactly I must do to be saved, or is your warning just that I'm going to die?
I'm sorry but I'm very dumb, you're going to have to spell it out to me, so a simple "accept Jesus" isn't enough.

You should phrase it the same way as the WT does, you know, so if it happens you can say "See, you were warned!", but if it doesn't happen you can say "We never said it was definite!".
Here's an example:
KM 2014 03 p.2 Para 4. 'Will You Seize the Opportunity?'
"Will this Memorial be our last? We do not know."Which is a rerun of the WT 1918 Mar 1st 'In Memory of our King'
"Whether the coming Memorial will be the last on earth, we do not, of course, know"So if you don't know, why say it? It's hardly a loud warning to save peoples lives, and it's sitting on the fence, playing with words, because you actually have no idea yourself.
One thing is true though. Keep saying that every month, every year "this will be it", and at some point you will be right.
No-one will be listening by then, of course. -

CharlieSmith1975 PLUS, what I like about it is that it is an international sign.
The lunar tetrad you are referring to will be visible from most of the US, certainly not internationally.
CharlieSmith1975 These four eclipses are considered significant because the four eclipses fall on two primary Jewish holidays.
Since the first century, eight tetrads have coincided with Jewish holidays.
The problem with predicting things like this and them never coming true is that you discredit yourself and become the Boy who cried wolf!
Then when you predict another, then another, they fail to be warnings because you have lost all credibility. They should call this "Watchtower Syndrome"

a parable has a fullfillment? and, is there now no faithful slave?
by sowhatnow indoes a parable have a fulfillment?
lol, i thought only prophesy had fulfillment.

The March 2015 WT is restating what it put in the July 2013 WT.
The F&DS were chosen in 1919, but in accord with the Mt 24 account they will not be rewarded until later. There are two different 'appointings', one past and one future:
(Matthew 24:45-47) “Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time? 46 Happy is that slave if his master on coming finds him doing so! 47 Truly I say to you, he will appoint him over all his belongings."
What I find interesting are the multiple identities given to the 'slave' in this illustration:
Verse 45 “Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time?" This is the 8 man (currently) Governing Body.
Verse 46 - 47 "Happy is that slave if his master on coming finds him doing so! Truly I say to you, he will appoint him over all his belongings." This is all of the 144,000 anointed.
Verse 48 “But if ever that evil slave says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying,. . .' ". This is a fictional slave that does not and will not exist.

A brazen falsehood in this week's Watchtower study! (week of Feb 9 - 15, 2015)
by Island Man inon page 13 of the december 15, 2014 watchtower (study edition), the first 2 sentences of paragraph 10 say:.
"the symbolic separating of fish does not refer to the final judgment during the great tribulation.
rather, it highlights what would happen during the last days of this wicked system.".

I pulled two elders over at the end of the meeting and showed them Mt 13:42 and 50.
I asked them "what's the difference between these two verses?"
As pointed out in the OP, the two verses say the same thing and are both on the same page when you read them.
1st elder: They're the same.
2nd elder: Yes, they're the same.
Me: No, they are different. Vs 42 is after Armageddon, vs 50 is before it.
Elder 2: Oh yes, that's right.

Magazine Routes March KM
by Rattigan350 inimproving our skills in the ministrydeveloping a magazine route.
what does delivering magazines have to do with skills in a ministry?.
"many people who enjoy reading our magazines do not wish to study the bible with us.".

Hardly a cutting edge suggestion.
They were suggesting the exact same thing 45 years ago (or longer, probably)*** km 4/71 p. 4 par. 4 Presenting the Good News—That People May Be Free ***
Do you have a magazine route? If not, and you would like to start one, you may wish to follow the example of a pioneer in California. His route helps him to average placement of 395 magazines a month. When householders take magazines, he says, “Would you like to have these magazines regularly? They are only 20c a month, and I will be glad to deliver them.”
