The Org is terrified of apostates
by SecretSlaveClass ini knew apostasy was a serious concern for the org, but until i watched this video, i had no idea how afraid they actually were.
all this guy wants is to do is not turn in his fs hours and immediately they (elders) set about drilling him about who are what influenced his decision, as if he was incapable of making his own (which as the elders confirm, in the org is highly discouraged).
they are convinced he has been communicating with apostates or visiting apostate web sites.

Canadian branch getting rid of their trucks and drivers
by wannaexit ina recent letter to the elders outlined the new arrangement for delivering literature to the congregations.
the canadian branch will be downsizing by eliminating drivers and trucks and utilizing commercial carriers to bring the boxes of monthly literature .
more outsourcing and more lay offs.. the funny thing about it is that they want to have the literature delivered to various private homes of the rank and file rather than have the literature delivered to the kingdom hall.

There's very little consideration for the worker bees.
So long as the nest can better itself, the drones are expendable.

wannaexit To cover up this "worldly scheme" , they made up a story about it being better for times of persecution to have the literature delivered to private homes.
More likely so they don't have to keep changing the logistics when they sell the kingdom halls.
Either that or they have just realised they have been in contravention of some legal requirement and this is the best way to address it.
Either way, having a truck full of literature turn up at someone's house instead of the kingdom hall is going to cause more problems during times of persecution, not less.

by smiddy inby their own admission the jehovah`s witnesses have acknowledged to the royal commission that 1006 child sex abuse cases against members of their religion have been handled in house.. 1006 cases over 65 years , equals to more than one , every month , every month , every year , for the next 65 years.. a judicial committee consists of 3 elders ,so 3 elders handled 1006 sexual abuse cases over 65 years equals 3018 elders who know about this abuse and never contacted the authorities .either police or ,child protection services .. what sort of morals or ethics do these so called christians have ?.

The total number of victims on the list submitted to the Royal Commission came to about 3,500.
That's more than one every week for 65 years. Known.

Jackson Vs Lett and Morris: Pedophile Fiasco
by BashfulAshG inso jackson admits that there's a problem in the jw community with pedophiles, but lett says that it isn't true that jw are permissive to pedophiles.
also, morris says that jws where ahead of the game with the 1980s watchtower by blaming homosexuals for pedophilia.
hmm...seems legit.

I wish there was a video mashup of these three statements.
I read on here somewhere that they've taken down one of the videos where a GB member says there's no paedophile problem. -

Do you believe Jehovah's Witnesses' Governing Body is the "faithful slave"?
by Marvin Shilmer inthis question is known to be posed by jws to other jws as an acid test of loyalty.
i'm not the first to notice what i'm about to point out and comment accordingly, but today i felt compelled to add a short article on my blog highlighting the new language that governing body member geoffrey jackson supplies as a response.
a person who honestly hesitates to respond with a robust "yes!

Fisherman I do not know for a fact what GJ meant, neither do you, only he does. What I do know for a fact is [...] he tried to clarify that HS is how God directs people...
Beautiful WT doublespeak, well done. Add the word "evidently" and we can put this in the next Awake!
When you read what he said and not what you wanted him to have said, the truth becomes clear.
"That, I think, would seem to be quite presumptuous to say that we are the only spokesperson that God is using."
The WT magazines clearly state that the GB are God's mouthpiece. The GB set the rules and only the GB can change the rules. Why? Because God speaks through them alone. Can a JW listen to information and teachings apart from the GB? No, because only the GB are God's mouthpiece.
Every JW knows this! In fact it is so central to JW dogma that it has even become the back room acid test to detect loyalty in the congregation. Go ahead and ask old sister Faithful if the GB are God's spokeman, guess what she'll say?
WT articles trump Bible verses. Deborah as a judge is one such relevant proof. The GB interpret and speak for God for the rest of JWdom, but GJ is simply too embarrassed to state it plainly and admit it publicly.
It's ok Fisherman if you wish to twist your mind and GJ's meaning into something that you find acceptable, something that fits your preprogrammed allegiance, but please don't expect everyone else to blindly accept your WT-like agenda of intentional misconstruing things. We've already done that but got fed up with it.

@SimonSays You're mental if you believe what you've written.
ALL OF US, which include the slave class must be ready to obey who? JAH by any instructions we may receive.
Who exactly will be giving us these new instructions from "Jah"? Oh, how convenient, it's the GOVERNING BODY! If you can't see how this undermines your flimsy reasoning then I have some chocolate teapots you might be interested in buying.
Please keep rearranging all your words, the law of averages says that you will eventually make sense.

This, from someone who still thinks there's such a thing as a slave class.

"Mediator" not Mediator, "Judge" not Judge... Watchtower word games
by ILoveTTATT2 inas much as jesus is not the mediator of mankind but the "mediator" (supposedly a legal term), the watchtower has a similar word game with the word "judge".seems like deborah judged in israel, which, for every one of you apostate or worldly scumbags who don't understand word games, does not mean debora was a judge.
you see, deborah was a "judge".why is that?
because she is not listed on a list of 12 judges.

There were 12 judges in Israel, and Heb 11:32 only mentions four of these.
In mentioning these four, Heb 11:32 adds Samuel and David to the list, "and the [other] prophets".Heb 11:32 is not a list of judges, it is a sample list of faithful men who, if you continue to read verses 33 and 34 "who through faith..." demonstrated many achievements.
To say that Deborah cannot be classed as a judge because of Heb 11:32 is to misunderstand what Heb 11:32 is saying, and might as well be used to argue that there were actually only four judges.
The scriptures are clear, Deborah is called a judge more than once and Barak is never given that title.
The WT do not follow the Bible but interpret according to their own whim and tradition. This is just one more example of a corrupt teaching where they claim to know better than the Word of God.
