"From your study of the Bible, you know how disfellowshipped ones are to be treated."
You know, but we aren't saying. You're not going to have this put in print!

The last page of the program is very telling.
Which topic gets the most page space?
Clue: It's the only topic for which the Governing Body are especially thankful. -

"We Already Forgive Him" - What Does That Mean?
by cofty inthe children of one of yesterday's shooting have told the media that they have already forgiven the killer for what he did.. dylaan roof has not apologised for what he did.
he hates black people and probably regrets not killing even more.. what does it really mean to forgive?.
if the legal system asked the victims relatives what they want done next would they ask for dylaan to go free and unpunished?.

cofty My point is that the parent's claim to be forgiving is vacuous in scenario 2 and 3.
This is exactly the forgiveness that occurs in the Bible, in the example of how to be forgiving (of all places).
To set the scene, Jesus has just told Peter that he must forgive not 7 times, but 77 times. Immediately after saying this Jesus gives a parable to illustrate it in Matt 18:23 onwards.
He talks of a slave who owed his master a huge amount of money - 10,000 talents. The slave could never pay this back.
Now this same slave was owed a little money from a friend of his, also a slave. His friend could not pay it back yet and he too asks for leniency, but the first slave has his friend thrown into prison for the debt. This news gets back to the first slaves master.
The slave begs for leniency and the master agrees, (Matthew 18:27) "Moved with pity at this, the master of that slave let him off and canceled his debt."
(Matthew 18:32-34) "Then his master summoned him and said to him: ‘Wicked slave, I canceled all that debt for you when you pleaded with me. Should you not also have shown mercy to your fellow slave as I showed mercy to you?’ With that his master, provoked to wrath, handed him over to the jailers until he repaid all that he owed."So are we to learn from this that forgiveness has unspoken conditions or can be undone? Once a sin is forgiven can it be unforgiven?
If you forgive someone but then proceed to punish them for it, can you really be said to be forgiving?

Anthony Morris III life story
by campaign of hate inam3rd life story is in may 15th 2015 study wt.. after reading, he sounds very mental unstable.
i know you guys will be saying "yeah, obviously he is"...but we don't have any concrete evidence saying he has a mental condition.. has anyone ever dug a little deeper, perhaps try to find some people who would have known him from the army?
i mean, he probably doesn't know that many people, he was only serving for a year for christs sake.

coh The part where he says in the article that his sons are in the truth, and they make me and my wife look good?
What does that imply about Jehovah then, who lost many of his angelic 'sons'.

Looking Back In Retrospect To 1975...
by titch ingreetings, folks: so, it's been 40 years since 1975. and, if you were actively involved with the witnesses back then, the mindset of many was, that by early autumn of 1975, it would mark the anniversary of 6000 years of human existence.
and, the hope was then, that it would mark the start of the 1000-year of christ, from the heavenly realm.
but, looking back now, 40 years ago, in june of 1975, only 3 more months remained until early autumn.

I'm still awaiting 1975 to happen, and when it does you will all be sorry.

Sir David Eady to give judgement on the Watctower Appeal in the Otuo v Morley and Watch Tower case at the High Court tommorrow
by Adwoa Kromo insir david eady sitting as high court judge will hand down judgement tomorrow at 11:00am in the appeal of the decision from master leslie for refusing to strike out the claim as an abuse of process.
in his judgement in november 2014 he stated in his judgement delivered ex-tempore " i am bound to say that this case causes me a good deal of trouble".
from notes that i have from the hearing last week, i will be utterly surprised if the retired judge sir david eady takes a different view.

I would like to see individual elders being held to account over their actions, and them being personally prosecuted / fined.
When this happens I think the role of 'elder' will not be such a sought after one.

That part about how Jehovah answers us like a father answers his children was deceptive.
The reasoning went...
"Recall that he likens our relationship with him to that of children with a father. (Ps. 103:13) A child cannot rightly expect a parent to grant every request or to do so right away. Some of a child’s requests may be mere passing whims. Others must wait till the time is right. Still others may not be in the child’s best interests or in the best interests of others involved."
But notice Ps 103:13 is referenced : "As a father shows mercy to his sons, Jehovah has shown mercy to those who fear him."
This verse is not about little children, it is about 'sons'. The context shows that these 'sons' are actually independent persons and likened to 'mortal man'.
If we are like little children then we should allow someone to take responsibility for us and make decisions for us.
If we are adults then we take responsibility for ourselves, but also ask for things that go beyond what 'children' deem important. -

They have been teaching wrong things for over a century and all of their teachings have passed away unfulfilled.
It's fitting that Jesus exposes them in Matt 5:18-19:
"Truly I say to you that sooner would heaven and earth pass away than for one smallest letter or one stroke of a letter to pass away from the Law until all things take place. Whoever, therefore, breaks one of these least commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in relation to the Kingdom of the heavens."Ironically, I learned this verse at the recent convention!
