  New Governing Body Member: Hugo Riemer - More WT Revisionist History

  as part of the wt's recent push to get the r&f "to study and recount the history of the earthly part of jehovahs organization" there is a curious article in the from our archives featurette of the august 15th, 2012 watchtower.

  it offers a highly sanitized version of early jw history.

  but what is particularly strange is this revisionist history re-categorizing of an early bible student/jw, one hugo riemer.

  50/50 biblical and beyond the Bible. Ray explaines it very balanced in search for Christian freedom. I think Ray is the best christian writer in our time. You can sence his love and honesty!

  Wt would be nice if their exclusive, cult mindset was gone and the conclusion was love. Shame to use an org like that.

  a while ago i sent an e-mail to jason beduhn, that the society is quite fond of.

  they like to quote him in publications.

  so when i started researching the great crowd and the accuracy of the earthly hope doctrine i thought i might write him and ask him what the exact meaning of "before the throne" (revelation 7:9) and "temple" (7:15) is.

  it is 3am here and i just finished reading your last post and even though i have to be up at 6am tomorrow morning (technically later), i felt obligated to login to jwn and write to you.

  i thought about saying many things.

  Sticking to the facts..

  One thing I learned after retesting jw doctrine was that the only facts I know, are those which are obtained by personal, scentific studies!

  You can have theory about any thing in life. But if you cannot analyse, test and evaluate your hypothesis with personal observations and findings, there is no way you can talk about facts.

  Anyone can start up today! Wanna test mcdonalds diet? Go ahead. Wanna check out how lying works? Test it on your co workers. Wanna find out why old people trip and fall and end up with a broken hip. Yup, interview them!

  My point; if we only read others ideas and make the our own "truth" and guidlines in life, we are mislead. We all have our journey. Beeing intellectual honest is a struggle. Doing our own scentific studies in life is demanding but nescessary! Whatever path we choose, it should be with humility and love!

  Thanks for your view! Seems that the mormons are up & coming on the internet!

  Are they more intelectual honest than wts? Strange that the wts hides their history. Will be interesting to see how this turns out!
