I Do Not Think Everyone That is a JW Wastes Their Life

my 97 year old grandmother died last week.

she was actually born and raised a jw.

her mother (my great grandmother) was a russelite.

I have some older friends in the "truth"! I think it's best for them to stay inside and be happy! To confront them, would probably make them very ill and even sick. No need for that. Besides, some jw may have God's approval anyways, even though WTS is false (if you believe in God that is).

There's many reasons to stay with a religion. But young people should have a chance to see both sides.

Sorry for your grandmothers death! Best wishes for you!

As far as I can remember she did not give out any "vital and personal information" - no names, social security numbers, adress, congo, looks or other specific marks to identify the persons!

But my wife obtained a lot of information about cults in Norway, how they work and how to deprogram former members. Also the effect Gerrit Losch's speach had on JW in Norway. It was devastating. Any business man or corporate manager would never invite a speaker like that again! You need more info. just pm me, oldhippie!

My wife are going to therapy these days, after learning TTATT (directly caused by Gerrit's crazy talk in Norway 2012).

Guess what? The psychiatrist actually treats other jw who stopped going to meetings after his famous speach here in Norway. She said that one guy just made the decision that enough was enough. Their whole family are inside, so they went underground... This nuthead will be your perfect next victim. You should send a link to Brooklyn and say hi from us over here. He (Gerrit) will eventually need some medication, at least if he ever sees some of his own talks directed by you

I agree with you. The choice of religion is based on where one is born. I therefore believe that doctrine does not matter much. Jesus said that our salvation would depend on how we treated other people, if we showed them love, gave them, food, water, shelter, nursing etc. Math 25:31-46. So, everyone has a conscience no matter what religion. That is my only reason to believe in combination with the complexity of our body. After my study of anatomy, I therefore keep the possibility open towards intelligent design , still respect others views and would not argue!
