  Qualities To Acquire In Entrepreneurial Business

  what qualities do you feel are important if you want to make a name for yourself in business?.

  is it wise to be the nice guy, who does everything with fairness in mind or is it better to be a hardnosed, lying, manipulative bastard?.

  if you were to consider going into business for yourself, which 'qualities' would you employ to gain maximum business profits?.

  Ok I'll give this a try, we've been in business for 10 years. I think the qualities you need to have are flexibility, patience and endurance. Yes I think it is best to be honest and fair minded. People do talk, and a reputation can make or break you.

  Qualities to employ to gain maximum business profits: this is a tough one, maybe having a unique product or service that everyone wants or needs. This will last for a time until someone else starts offering it too at a cheaper price.

  As far as money, in the beginning of the business, it is good to see what do you need out of it. Take as little as possible so you have the funds to make the business grow. Try not to create a lot of debt to run your business. Usually if you break even the first year, you are doing ok. Eventually, your business will be doing better and you can pay yourself more. But there will be times when your busiess isn't doing so well and you have to take less. Be flexible. I have a saying I tell my family, "take care of the business, and the business will take care of you."

  Thoughts on the Columbine Tragedy

  hope the word "columbine" is spelled right in this post .

  today i read an article on rense.com (an excellent website for all conspiracy theorists) where a parent was moaning about mtv, and the influence it was having on american children and other children.

  apparently, mtv is bad for your morals or something.

  I was just asking our 14yr old these type of questions yesterday. He likes to play those types of games and I was asking things like,did he ever put people he knew in the place of the game characters. How did he feel emotionally after playing the game. He passed the Mom test. I do notice the games are quite addictive and time consuming so we don't ban them but try to schedule times for other things too. Banning or making things forbidden only seem to entice people to crave that more.

  I think it is possible that a combination of things could have caused the tragedy at Columbine. As a parent, I think the most important thing we can do is to talk to our children, and listen to them. Find out what problems they are having, what bugs them, how they view things, and aid them in solving problems.

  That's all for now, I don't think my braid is functioning quite yet.

  last night i was visiting with one of my friends who works at the local police dept.

  she was talking about a guy that had to come in and register as a sex offender.

  he claims that this girl said she was 18, was really only 13 and he was convicted of rape, served 1 year in jail.

  Last night I was visiting with one of my friends who works at the local police dept. She was talking about a guy that had to come in and register as a sex offender. He claims that this girl said she was 18, was really only 13 and he was convicted of rape, served 1 year in jail. He must now register as a sex offender at the police dept wherever he lives. Street address, no Post Office Box address. The dept of corrections sends out letters and they are not forwarded to a new address. They are returned and a $5,000 fine is issued for failure to register. He will have to register FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE.

  My mind immediately contrasted this to the "punishment" the WT inflicts upon it's known molesters.( No privileges in the congregation) It struck me how truly dumb the WT arrangement is. They take extremely lightly, something that the goverment has determined is very serious.

  I went on to tell my friend about the cover up of child molesters in the JW organization, and how they allow convicted molesters to go door to door as dateline showed. She was shocked.

  i think they said 6 jws were kidnapped, 2 beheaded now.

  Wait on Jehovah. Don't run ahead of the organization. The Truth. Don't bring reproach on Jehovah's name. Spiritually weak. Jehovah's organization. Governing body. Body of Elders.

  Are they based on the Bible? If so what scriptures? When were these terms introduced into the JW vocabulary. I threw out all my WT stuff so I can't look anything up.

  I am thinking of putting together a file that I will send to law enforcement agencies about this problem in the JWs. I have several friends that work for our local police dept. and I was thinking of talking to them about how to do this. I think the police need to know and be reminded about the pedofiles going door to door. I find that so creepy. Children are being taken from their homes, molested and killed. Going door to door would be an easy way to find potential victims.

  My 6 year old has difficulty going to sleep at night. He has a fear that someone will break in and take him. When I was that age, I only had difficulty sleeping if I watched a scary show. What a difference.

  Ever feel truly embarrassed to admit you were a JW? These days I sure do. It's like admitting you were part of Jim Jones's cult or a Moonie or a Nazi, or something worse. I'm going to put my efforts into educating the public about this organization as much as I can. JWs either want to believe the GB, they won't check any other sources or bury their heads in the sand and deny it. By this they are either child molesters or supporter of them. They lack a conscience.
