  Skydiving/Parachuting. A disfellowship offense?

  i'm an active witness from brazil (who would leave if it weren't for my family/friends inside) and always dreamed about practicing skydiving.

  but as radical sports are a no-no for witnesses... i wonder if any elder or ex-elder on this forum knows if an active jw, practices skydiving/parachuting once and/or regularly, can he or she be disfellowship on that basis?

  i'm considering secretly jumping but afraid if someone finds out.

  haha. back in the day they used the excuse that you were either testing jehobo or not regarding your body as sacred. i got some major flak for joking about sacrificing blood to the skateboard gods. disfellowshiped? i doubt it... but shunned for being more interesting than the elders kid... affirmitive.

  cormac mccarthy wrote no country for old men, the road, the border trilogy (all the pretty horses...etc.).

  and he wrote this play: sunset ltd.. .

  it is a 2 man play.. the 2 men are samuel l. jackson and tommy lee jones.

  My latest university experience...

  this isn't a jw experience, but for those of you that have been following my life, i thought i'd have a drink and share this strange event in my post-jw life.. for you wonderful newbies, you can catch up on highlights of my story in the few threads i've started here.

  i'm finishing the junior year of my engineering degree and the classes are hard as hell.

  i used to be among the smartest students in the room until i hit the 300 level university courses.

  come on, billy. make these classes you're bitch. anything worth doing is worth tackin tha ballz to tha wallz. jehovah is not here to help you. you will get only out what you are willing to invest. give it 100% and if you fall short, dont sweat it. something about the million times you might fail. it only takes once to succeed. good luck

  hi there, as was suggested to me, i'm starting this thread to say hi to everyone.. my awakening began recently, after the new light on the 'slave'.

  i felt it didn't add up and went to check and found out ttatt.

  for a while i tried to find evidence of whether the wt might still be god's organization, i needn't say i couldn't.. i had already resigned as a ministerial servant and a pioneer, had already had several issues with the elders and did not put up with their nonsense for a long.
