  as i'm having some serious differences with some friends about the born again attitude i would like to get some information on their origins, practices and what they actually believe help me somone please .

  Yes, it was 'enough'. I think you are probably aware that I'm not a christian, nor am I religious in any way. That doesn't preclude my ability to accept, respect and ADMIRE some of you who are and who try to share a bit of where you're currently at! I understand what you and LT are saying, and I agree that people seem to be at cross purposes here...please don't let it get you down or hurt you in any way.

  as many of you know, my wife had a stroke back in september.

  i was so happy that over 80 people sent us public and private e-mails.

  some sent flowers and one person sent a gift.

  Sometimes, she gets emotional over this lack of progress in her life. I try to stay calm, but it is not easy for either one of us.

  I remember when Jan had the stroke and I've wondered how she was doing. I'm so glad to hear that she's improving but I also understand how frustratingly slow the progress must seem to be. My mother-in-law had a stroke a couple of years ago and I've seen first hand how it has affected her and my father-in-law (well, they're ex-in-laws now, but still people close to my heart). I'm really glad that you and she have received support here and I hope that you will continue to share when you feel the need.

  Hey Waiting

  It was great meeting you, as well. I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to make the trip to Joy's and Steve's and I find it amazing that every time I meet people from the board, I feel an instant connection, or bond, with them. Course, it didn't hurt that you remind me TOTALLY of my favorite aunt, whom I miss a great deal.

  As for maturity...well, now, let's not get carried away! LOL

  Hmmm, what I can't figure out is if that was meant for them only, or if I'm sposed to kiss 'em both. If so, then am I sposed to kiss 'em both at the same time?? Or individually or...argh, I'm so confused!

  Oooooooooo-kay,

  It appears that there is some misunderstanding at work here...but I'll be happy to abide by general consensus. I'm not trying to start a flame war and if you looked at my posting history, you'd see that's not a part of who I am. I posted this in sincerity; however, it appears that that particular message got lost somewhere. I'm not ignoring Simon's locking of the thread, nor am I attempting to rekindle a discussion of the topic publicly. I stated a public apology...plain and simple...care to explain the problem to me? Coz I don't seem to be getting it.
