well, maybe i'll get to a lake, but that's not my primary reason for being scarce around the board this week.
going with number 2 daughter to visit my mother (who had a mini-stroke last month), see what's what there, and also to pick up my grand-niece who will return home with us for a two week visit.
she lived with us for 7 years, so we're looking forward to being reunited.

That's wonderful news, my friend Thirdly, you're going to see your brother's kids? Hmmm, if one of them is a particular kid you've talked to me about before, I'm REALLY gonna want to hear about the visit, k??

Sorry for the delay in responding; I went to the beach for a couple of days Funny thing about that poem...I'm not a big fan of poetry, normally, but there's just something about it that speaks to me. I'm glad that others enjoyed it too

Sometimes, travel is a state of mind, rather than being. The journey, and not the destination, is the most important aspect. I have to say thank you to the people who have contributed to my journey; lessons learned may be difficult and painful at times, but perhaps all the more valuable. flying into dublin and then driving all along the coast and ending up in galway.
does any one know of anything special i shouldn't miss and any place to be especially wary of?
