  Memories. .. share the earliest or most favorite childhood memory

  my daughter tells me that experts say children tend to have false memories.

  apparently their brain tends to fill things in that may not be totally accurate.. i refuse to believe that my favorite and comforting memory might not be true.

  so here is to fond memories real or not.. the earliest memory i have is being put in a crib at a preschool.

  The winter when I was four it snowed on Boxing Day. We ran outside so excited. It was so pretty but we didn't know it would stay for two months and the temperature drop to -19. Went to bed with socks and gloves on, with woolly sweaters over our pyjamas. There was ice on the inside of the windows, no central heating. Winter of 1962 / 1963 - the year the Thames froze over and even the sea for four miles.

   One day my dad took us to school and the snow was so deep we had to walk behind him stepping in his footprints. That was fun, I remember

  its not mother earth its mother jones, is there a way to edit or delete posts?

  where does the term 'New World' come from?

  im wondering with all its mason or alumni or whatever, background, what significance would the term 'new world'.

  come from for the title of their bible?

  anyone have research for that subject?.

  i couldn't sign in at first because i haven't had to for a couple of years so i forgot my password, but simon has made it so easy to reset it.

  love being able to post pictures again.

  i used to with photobucket but then i couldn't for a while which is something to do with my photobucket account i think.

I used to with photobucket but then I couldn't for a while which is something to do with my photobucket account I think. Now it's so easy. Spell check is instant too! So vital for me, can't spell for toffee. Love it when I put in a text type smile and it automatically inputs a smiley icon. Thanks Simon, hope you feel better soon, 'flu is horrible.

                               I honestly don't fit into any of these pigeon holes. No surprises there :) As a born-in I thought it made sense that there is a plan and someone is in charge. Without any knowledge of evolution except WTS half-truths why wouldn't I? When I was in my late twenties I decided I needed to read more. So I picked things that interested me, history, philosophy, Greek mythology.   They came, they saw, they left...

  during the holiday period one if my wife's brothers had planned a vacation in our area.

  they drove about 6 hours to a condo they leased for a week to celebrate their wedding anniversary with their married son and daughter.

  they called my wife to let her know they were coming to visit us since they were 2 hours away.
