PE well done, that must have taken in out of you to speak to the therapist about the JW shunning. You were so well prepared! They usually have a pay phone in psychiatric wards if you want to leave him your number and some change.

So my PIMO Younger Brother Tried To Kill Himself Today
by pale.emperor inwe all know that this cult will drive those trying to leave to desperate measures, and today by brother was very nearly one of those statistics.
he slashed his thigh with a kitchen knife and was bleeding out until he called the police.. i got a call on my way home from work from a police officer, coincidentally it was one of my old friends from school who's now a cop.
he told me my brother is in hospital after an attempted suicide and has lost some blood but will be ok. but i should get to the hospital as he's asking for me.

I second what Zeb has said PE make sure the staff in the psychiatric ward know what's going on. Otherwise they can react negatively to your brother not wanting to see certain family members and put it down to paranoia which can affect how long he stays in hospital. We're here for you.

Every time I see JW women I can't get over the length of the dresses, they're getting longer every year.

Did You Know “Weird JWs” When You Were In The Organization?

The 'anointed' woman who always wore purple. Her home was also purple, carpets, curtains, sofas.
The couple, he was a MS, who thought the devil made us all physically ill.
A woman who thought a JW man was visiting her in spirit form at night and raping her. I know because it was my husband she accused before we met.

I wish he would just play the recording of the talk. I can't listen to this guy for an hour and eleven minutes. His mind and speech are so slow.

Present day tree.
by pleaseresearch insince leaving and fading.
i don't celebrate christmas but in its place which is sad i know.
we have present day.

Just take your time and celebrate only if you want to. Christmas has become way too commercialized but you don't have to go along with that. We didn't do Xmas the first year. Expensive presents that get you in debt are stupid. Do whatever you want. No one's going to disfellowship you if you dont't join in.

Hi Spacegirl. If I've read this correctly you've given up your career and moved to be with your husband. He doesn't want to have children because there are paedophiles in his family!
I find this very worrying. You seem to be required to give up everything for him, career, children, now your Christmas tree. You want to be a good wife and think of his needs? I think you've done nothing else but think of his needs. You're in trouble, dear, I'm afraid. I'm really sorry to be so blunt but you seem to be losing yourself here.

"In a human moment before Jehovah grabbed her"
by truthseeker ini often wondered how far back the witnesses had been involved with my family.
my grandmother died at the end of 2013 and while going through her photos we found some of my great-grandmother, dora, who was born in 1901 and died in 1994. there is a photo of dora dated 1946 standing outside her house in east riding, yorkshire.
on the back of the photo her husband had written "in a human moment before jehovah grabbed her".. my great grandfather, who died before i was born, did not like the witnesses.

What a treat to see your family photos and their beautiful drawings and paintings. Also to hear their stories, thank you Truthseeker.
