  After twenty years of marriage…

  i just got a call from a friend who informed me that a brother whom i've known for a while and is an elder, just found out last night that his wife of 20+ years declared she was gay, and left him..

  i still need to confirm but my friend is very reliable and was close friends with the family.

  heres the thing, she spent 20+ years with this man, has children with him and now decides she wants to follow her heart.

  I have a friend whose husband didn't realise or admit to himself that he was gay until he was forty. They are still friends after the divorce for the sake of their daughter. She stays with her dad and his husband some weekends. I don't know for sure how my friend feels now but I have always said at least you know it wasn't about you, it was never going to work because he was gay.

  i mean how can these guys run a corporation and make good policies when they are so deluded and hide the fact from themselves and their readers?.

  ok sure they got a legal department but they are all brain washed just like the gb, and these guys think that every decision they make is jehovah's come on they are so out of touch with reality how can they every make good policy that is truley good?

  even when they are deceiving and coniving they are making blunder all over the place because they are old and deluded and full of shit..

  Most companies have to work really hard to manufacture goods or provide a service. These men spend all their time guilting people into giving them money. Who else does that, persuades people to give them money for nothing in return? They've been doing it for over a hundred years. Once a corporation's income reaches critical mass it is not difficult to keep making more money through investments and buying and selling property.

  I've read several volumes of Jung's collected works, containing many case histories. I also read Memories, Dreams, Reflections, his autobiography, in which he describes his work in a psychiatric hospital in Zurich, Switzerland in his early career. I was interested because he was born in the canton of Thurgau where my husband's mother was born.

  One thing I remember from his autobiography is he treated a teenage girl in Burgholizli who had been repeatedly raped by her brother and his friend. She was admitted and diagnosed with schizophrenia. He talked to this girl for seven years and eventually she went home, married, had children and was never admitted again. An interesting case.

  A bit of content for you. Forgive me for interrupting your intellectual discussion. I do know about archetypes. I think they are interesting but inconclusive. I shall now leave this discussion because frankly I don't need to be patronized by the likes of you.

The reason I copied and pasted his conclusion was because it really surprised me. Now you say I have descended into talking about talking?   However, Jung’s work has also contributed to mainstream psychology in at least one significant respect. He was the first to distinguish the two major attitudes or orientations of personality – extroversion and introversion. He also identified four basic functions (thinking, feeling, sensing, and intuiting) which in a cross-classification yield eight pure personality types.
  Psychologists like Hans Eysenck and Raymond Cattell have subsequently built upon this. As well as being a cultural icon for generations of psychology undergraduates Jung therefore put forward ideas which were important to the development of modern personality theory.

  This is the conclusion of Saul Mcleod's article which Oubliette cited, showing Jung's contributions to mainstream psychology which are far from trivial; extroversion, introversion and personality types utilised by Briggs and Myers.

  There is no comparison between intellectually analysing the beliefs of a religion and reading meanings into the shapes and shadows in a drawing.
  One involves comparing their doctrines with objective evidence about reality. Uncovering lies and deceptions and exposing fallacies. The other involves screwing up your eyes and using your imagination. (Emphasis mine)

  I am sure professors of the academic discipline of art history would have found that interesting. Then you said,
