If you mean Thirty Years a Watchtower Slave I read it when I was sixteen. My sixteen-year-old true believer self at the time thought the author was very bitter. I haven't looked at it since so my view might be quite different now.
My mother was horrified I brought it home from the library but it's just a shame it took me another 14 years to leave.

I agree with dubstepped, you can't change anyone. I also agree with Simon, keep away from people who lurch from crisis to crisis.
If you can't keep away, if they're work colleagues make it clear that you won't put up with them dumping their drama on you. They will learn to moan about their 'terrible' life to someone else.

Yes Norway was beautiful and a cruise seemed to me the best way to see the fjords.

What is it about the Mediterranean cruises that people love?
I think Biahi is from the US so I suppose a med cruise is a good way to see a lot of Europe in a couple of weeks.
When I went to Norway they were trying to sell me these enormous drinks packages and I thought I'll never spend that even if I have two glasses of wine a night with dinner. I noticed some people drink all day, a booze cruise as you say LV101.

I love the med and I also went on my first cruise in April but it was to Norway. Have a wonderful adventure, that's what life's all about!
