@Elephant - Jesus said that the holy spirit would be another PARACLETOS he send to help us. Rutherford was very presumptuous by thinking that he was the channel of God and he did not need the aid of this indispensable helper for all christians. This is why Rutherford proclaimed false prophecies and false interpretations, because he rejected this essential helper.

@DATA-DOG I learnt about that stuff by reading old posts of this forum. But I cheked it with old Watchtower editions.
For instance, Rutherford rejected the aid of the holy spirit in the Watchtower September 1931:
It would seem that there would be no necessity for the "servant" to have an advocate such as the holy spirit, because the "servant" is in direct communication with Jehovah and as Jehovah's instrument, and Christ Jesus acts for the entire body. "The Servant" is anointed to do a specific work. "The servant" is made up of Christ Jesus the Head, the resurrected saints, and the called and chosen ones on the earth who have been brought into the temple and who have entered into the joy of the Lord. Individually those of the remnant on earth must have their standing before God in the beloved One Christ Jesus, and the beloved One is their advocate. Being in the temple, however, there would seem to be no good reason, why there should be an advocacy in their behalf by the holy spirit, since the Lord is now with them. .......................Instead of the "servant's" being moved into action by the operation of the holy spirit as a helper, the Scriptures seem clearly to teach that the Lord directs his angels what to do and that they act under the supervision of the Lord in directing the remnant on earth concerning the course of action to take.(Rev. 8: 1-7. )
As we read, the Rutherford-servant class regarded themselves, not a humble group of bible students, but the only God's channel with no necessity of the holy spirit. It is one of the greatest heresies I ever read in my life.

Ray: You should also read what were the Rutherford's answers for that letters. I can give you all the documents I collected. After showing to my sister those letters with their respective Watchtower answers, my sister, who is an old faithful witness was shocked and now she is studying again all the Bible in order to check which Watchtower teaching is scriptural and which is not. She is very disappointed, because I showed her the false teachings of the Finished Mystery and how the Proclaimer's book hides it by saying that this book was a success. You can show to your elders these facts and they could not give you an asnwer because it destroys the credibility of the governing body.
Also, you can tell to your elders: "I don't believe in the organization because I am an orthodox Watchtower believer", so they will ask you : "How could it be?", so you must quote brother Russell who said: "beware of organization, it is wholly unnecessary. The Bible rules will be the only rules you will need. Do not seek to bind others' consciences.." (Watchtower September 15, 1895, page 216).

Ray: show to your elders the Olin Moyle and the Walter Salter letters to Rutherford, and ask them: Do you believe in the doctrines that drunk guy invented?

Hi Ray: We should have pain and sorry for the elders. They are just puppets of the goberning body. They have to work hard in the congregation, but they are not following exactly what Christ is demanding for them. We are not justifyed by works. They ignore that, because they think that they must to follow the governing body instructions, which according to them, come from Jehovah. The same happened during the days of Martin Luter with the Catholic Church. This is why I think that Raymond's books are necessary readings for all Jehovah's Witnesses in order to discard the unnecessary legalisms in the Society. It may happen if we improve to propagate the lies of the governing body.

Hi Ray, two weeks ago, two elders visited me, so I told to them that I will not attend the meetings anymore until the governing body stop lying about the Watchtower history. I told them that I discovered that Rutherford was a false prophet and a drunken, so this fact affect what the truth about 1935. I also said to the elders that the doctrine of the blood fractions is a double standard so the governing body is in serious guilt before God. They told me that I should write a letter of resignation, but I said that I will not do that, but I suggested them to disfellowship me for appostasy, but they told me that they could not do that because they have to apply the due procedures. One of the elders told me that he will consider me his brother always, but the other one wanted to leave my house as soon I say a word against the goberning body, this elder is very fanatic, and the former is more christian. .....well, I don't know what will they do against me, but It seems that they will do nothing for now. I think they believe that I am crazy.

Hi Randy:
I am now an ex-JW, from Brazil, who speaks Spanish and Portugues.
I think you are doing a good work to expose Watchtower errors. Although it is sad to read that some ex-JW are now atheists. May be they are happy, but I am sad for them. Whatever, Jehovah God love us and they will know God and his Son in the future.
Regards,
Arius
