  i mentioned i was cleaning the forum archive when i bumped this thread by oompa:.

  damm i miss jwd...this place will always be jwd to me.... rather than turn that into a discussion of the archive, i'll answer slimboyfat's concern here.. the things i'm clearing up are either:.

  Found this gem in a coffee table book from 1947

  the caption for the pic described the jws as "pathetic" (probably reflecting the victorious postwar mood).

  outlaw could probably have some fun incorporating this pic into his comments!

  i was unable to insert the pic from the april 15,2013 pg 29 but leaving jesus christ out of the illustration on page 29 is no problem for the governing body as they have now substituted themselves for christ.

  This stuff is the drug, the crack part of the religion. I doubt it will wake up many jws, just as crack doesn't wake up the addict as it is pushed by the plunger, out the needle, and passes into the vien of his tied arm. The drug/wt slave is under the spell, at this point. They are in denial.

  They certainly weren't neutral, as they like to claim. It was their antiwar agitation that brought down persecution on them from the govt.

  What exactly was going on after Jesus was put to death and no longer around?
