just got word that my sister died.
she had surgery for heart valve replacement about 5 weeks ago, and when they opened her up for it they found cancer.
we had an extra special relationship since i was her "birthday present" when she turned 10 in 1951. this is my second sibling to die of cancer in 14 months..
My condolences, poppers.

Religion is mostly crap, imo. The sytandard god doesn't exist, imo. I have come down the path and am of the pantheist opinion, at this time. What that 'god', of which everything eminated and which is in everything, what it is, is the question, imo.

if i knew then what i know now, i might never have disassociated myself.
i realize all i can do is speculate on what could have been.
however, when i consider the number of people i might have been able to help by dropping little thought-provoking seeds, i really regret having jumped to the decision to disassociate so quickly.. ive read the accounts of several people on this forum telling of how stressful it is to be in the position that i just described above.
Wanting to help is fine. There is no obligation to help jws out, though. Responsibily to rescue people from false religion is a wt idea. Its one of their main doctrines. You can drop that doctrine, too, if you want to be a regular person on this planet.
When a jw is ready to learn ttatt, there is lots of info and lots of people available to help. The easterners have a saying, when the student is ready, the teacher will appear. It has been my experience that this is true.

we have been searching the net trying to find the best, most successful way of splitting fire wood.. this guy puts the wood into a small tire, for safety, and it stays in one place.. just lois.

Hmm.. Weld a pipe to the side of a regular axe, stuck a handle through the pipe.... There ya go. A little careful measuring and a little fiddling. But, at 300 bucks for the imported one, it gives a little encouragement for diy.
