What you are saying is that those 1st century christians understood and believed the present wt chronology back then. Right?
if the author of the book of matthew can be believed, jesus left no doubt about when the apocalypse would occur.
it would be before all of jesus' disciples died, even before his disciples would be able to spread the good word to all of the cities of israel.
since all of the disciples are dead and the apocalypse hasn't occurred, we must conclude that matthew was wrong and that the bible is in error.

yesterday, at a construction site where a new kh is to be built,a crane fell down, killed a sister and injured some others severly.
local tv reported that now police has started investigations against the crane operator.
building a kh in germany is done by voluntary workers that are not properly insured by the wts but are dependant on their own insurances.

Are you a jw or christian? 'I don't see why one should try to make jokes about a person dying, no matter what organization he or she would or not be part of.' That is a rather unjehovahly statement to make as he said he was gonna laugh when what his opposers dreaded came upon them. I guess that would be us 'apostates', hey, that would include me. All the wt pictures show the nice jehovists happily ignoring all the blood, guts, suffering and terror around them as their leader laughingly annihilates 99% of earths population. I would say you are a little out of wt step here, advocating this type of empathy for people of other denominations than your own.
If you are accusing me of making fun of the jw lady who was killed or the ones who were hurt: i already explained that on a previous post. It wasn't aimed at those people, but wt and bible concepts. Sorry, if that was misunderstood.

today i was thinking sometimes what people feel that others can't relate to isn't this whole history of having been a jw.. just curious, anyone out there feel that way?
i guess this is here because of the relationship bit, a bit general though i suppose.
Hi Intro
Xjws can blame a lot on having been a jw, but not everything. If everything was the fault of the wt, then xjws must have been perfect before they became jws. People become jws for various psychological reasons, and one of them could be because they were socially inept. While a social handicapper could gain social abilities in the jw fold, if he left he could still be less socially able than others. IMO

I worked on many 2 kh constructions. I feel a bit sad for those on that german construction, because i can picture it all so easily. I am being sarcastic and making fun not of she who was killed or those hurt, but the wt and bible concepts of jehovahs protection and guidance of 'his people'.
There are scriptures that show that accidents, even to 'gods people' are random. Then there are many that show they are gods punishment especially if it is his people involved, and at times if they are not his people. People choose which they think applies, depending on what they have been taught, how they feel, the fashion of the times in which they are living.

Yes, the bible has many contrdictions. People can choose which scripture suits their whim or the fashion of their time.
visions of a legacy tonight, i open up my soul to all of you with things that have come into focus for me in recent weeks.
i am not sure how or why i have been able to nail down a few things of importance to me, but finally they have become clear to me.. the question: we all have in common the fact that each of us will one day leave this life and close our eyes in death.
the question we each have before us is what will we leave behind in our wake?
Amazing
Bravo. And again bravo!

She probably was killed and those two injured because a person or persons on a previous kh build committed an immorality during the construction or imbezled some funds. So naturally jehovah is now letting the devil punish them. The building comittee needs to get together, and after prayer, use a pair of dice to single out the person/s that sinned against jehovah, and then disfellowship them. Then things like this will not happen anymore. Right, Fred?

Accuracy
Granted, to most christians it seems like a dumb question. Nevertheless, to indivduals who have seen jesus, it's not. There is actually a book, published a couple of years ago, which documents the visions people had of jesus. I don't remember if it gives the peoples' names, but it gives their locations and backgrounds. They were people of different religions, some with none. Some catholic saints have seen him. I communicated with a catholic mystic in ontario canada, who claims to have seen also.
Christians of the serious flavors will reject all this out of hand. 'Things like that have all passed. No more miracles'. But why should they? The spirit bears witness with our spirit. In as much as you are a spirit, and you live in the spirit, to use christian terms, you should theoretically be able to percieve a bit of the spirit world. If a person asks for a fish, god will not give him a serpent, will he? Why would a person looking for god get a demon? He may of course, come to realise he has his own negative spirits which he has been carrying.
suprashy,.
you might be thinking of rev 1:7, which reads "and every eye will see him, and those who pierced him...".
and the dead were judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds.

1. I'm not a jw because: As a jw i was getting more and more dpressed, even thinking about suicide. I had done my best to follow their instructions. Failure, guilt, depression followed. I read ray franz' crisis of conscience. From that i could see god wasn't directing them.
I studied the bible for myself. I was in standard christianity for a while. Then i found preterism made a lot more sense. Then i found out the bible didn't make sense.
