5 meetings a week = 5 hours.
getting dressed and travel time = 5 hours.

When i was furiously studying the bible for myself, i settled on the nrsv as an allpurpose version, the living bible for reading enjoyment and the amplified for word comparisons.

30 years a WT slave

Is the Devil really that clever?
by TheHighPriest inpeople usually turn to god in times of distress and tend to forget about god when things are going a bit better,right?
so if the devil really wanted to succeed in turning people away from god all he would have to do is make life more comfortable for all of us.
i mean lets face it if everyone was loaded with money had access to every convenience, if health was not an issue we all had to confront would we look to god for salvation then?

Hey, i'm a busy guy, whattaya want anyway? I do the best i can. The help i get is unreliable too, ya know. Deity gets me to do all the dirty jobs because i think outside the box so to speak. I'm more unconventional so i can do the tougher, more complex jobs. All his other angels are like puppies doing his little errands and slobbering all over him. Sure, he gave me some angels too, but they aren't very innovative. I let deity put on his big show. I don't need all that ego boosting. The bad rep gets a little heavy sometimes, though.

Something Sinister About JW Books?
by Englishman inwhen i was a little lad of 7 years old, my parents would drag me - literally kicking and screaming - to the kingdom hall.
i used to hate it with a vengeance.. it wasn't just the weird language that i detested, but there did seem to be something of an evil aura about the place.
i recall the chap who took my parents bible study telling them that satan was working through me to try to stop them attending meetings.. it was around this time that i started to become fearful of being alone or in the dark.

The last few years i was in i got to hate the illustrations in the wt, even the beautiful scenery paintings. It seemed there was something...maybe sinister, but certainly unnatural. The smiles seemed more like grimaces. Compare one of those with say a monet, maybe people would see what i mean. Christians certainly think the wt has a lot of demons.

seraphim, cherubs and the archangel who is referred to as jesus.. my question is what type of angel was satan?
i could be wrong but it seems that satan may have been a bit more powerful than many of the other angels.

Ahem, i was the deity's top agent, having brightness, intelligence and power beyond all others. A quality unique to me is flexibility. This enabled the deity to trust me with the more difficult tasks, which required ingenuity and different forms. The negative publicity that has come to be attatched to me during the last 2 millemiums is just part of my deep cover...oops, i shouldn't have said that.
