so looking for some advice here.
my dad wants nothing to do with me, doesn't reply to my emails, and.
told me that i'm never welcome to his house ever again because he wants to protect "his family" from me.

hey all, it's been a long time since i posted here.
life's been having its ups and downs, but that's a subject for another day.. anyway, this year i thought it would actually be nice to spend father's day with my kid.
his mom usually has him for sundays and for past father's days, i didn't mind because he was still kinda too young to realize what the day was about.
Make some good plans for next yr. There's christmas, too. Maybe, a birthday.

perhaps the most profound moment of my life occurred when i was sat in a car with my dad.
we were travelling home and having a very jw conversation on the paradise, at least, it was until my dad slipped in one of those rare moments of honesty in the watchtower world:.
that moment really hit me hard.
The niv is a great bible for general use. Its what i used during my christian phase.

as i've said before, things are getting weird across the world.
i believe it is possible to predict what happens next.. there is a "cabal", the rich and powerful, the big banks, the bilderbergs, the "1%".
and they are in trouble.. like wolves who have run out of prey, they have run out of assets to steal.

I did a linear extrapolation based on capitalism and how it seems to be heading, at the moment. In reality, nothing goes in a straight line. The way information and its availability is increasing exponentialy, as people learn more about the system which is shepherding them, i doubt that they will stay the sheep, so much.

satunus.
the intro says.. '' it is the contention of this writer that for the first time in history there is a viable movement.
- the new age movement - that truly meets all the scriptural requirements for the antchrist and the political movement.
'it's a book, if you haven't read it, how can you even comment on what's in it ?'
I commented on the intro that you pasted. I have some background in christianity, 2 yrs, and apparently new age, now, one of the barbarians, one of the antichrists, according to cumbrey.

A couple of my views are also contained in hinduism. People that know me, know that i swear too much to be a new ager;)

prior to that we had been in a new congregation for about 9 months, and we were just irregular.
my husband rarely went, and i would go occasionally with our toddler son just enough to show our faces and keep the elders off our backs, and for the sake of some friendships in our old hall.
all of the reasons i had for going were just no longer important.
'While we are definitely enjoying the newfound freedom that has come with our fading ... I also feel incredibly lost. '
When you are used to having everything prescribed for you, when you have been subjected to pressure for yrs; when that is finally removed, it is refreshing, at first. The new found freedom take a while to get used to. Responsibility comes, responsibility to take our lives into our own hands. It takes a while to adjust to a new life.
Depression can be dealt w somewhat by keeping busy. Try to learn what kind of things you might enjoy doing. Try cutting out negatives. One huge source of negativity is the news: print, tv or radio.

A bit of hindsight. The revolution that the establishment of the usa brought in is the commonality of man. The french did this, somewhat, but it couldn't reach the pinnacle. American independence succeeded better. Part of the american dream is that you don't have to be british royalty or elite to be able to succeed big time.
The elite is still there, but they facade behind which they hide is much thinner than it is in, say england and europe.
