Is there a copy of the letter to the BOEs available to verify they were asked to lie?

How many former Jehovah's Witnesses bury their head in the sand when it comes to reasoning about the NGO "conspiracy"?
by Change Name inhi all - sure sure, you can call me a troll or brainwashed cult member.
i am totally interested in how your answers to these questions.. .
do you find yourself ignoring anything that jehovah's witnesses bring out in regards to their former status as an ngo?.

A recent discussion that had me stumped!
by Terry inokay--first off, i wasn't involved in the following conversation; i was eavesdropping!.
you know how it is when you happen to be in a public place.
you are minding your own business until you're not minding your own business.

If one was to take the bible as sole authority, there would be no problem with pedophilia since it doesnt condemn it. Not so for "men who lie with men". Where's the logic in that?!

look at Amelia's response - do you think you might have made mistake in your assumption of the differences between NGO's?
In any case did you completely miss the point of Witness My Fury's post? A cleaner employed by a casino wouldn't need to agree with the aims of their employer, but it would still be considered a gross sin. Now think about that in the context of NGOs
For me it was never really the issue about the type of NGO. If they had signed up to say they wanted a seat in the Council and then realised the error of their ways I would have overlooked this if they had just come right out and said to EVERYONE associated with them "we made a mistake - it was wrong, we did it, but we're repentant" (i.e. exactly what a sinner would need to say to a JC).
But who among JWs knows about this whole issue?
I asked my best JW friend whether she knew about it a few weeks ago. She didn't. Then the other day she admitted it had totally shaken her up but the bottom line is that she "knows it's the truth". She didn't say how she knows it's the truth and I didn't ask her as it's between her and Jehovah I guess. I suspect you have the same reasoning.
The bottom line for me is that a little transparency goes a long way to build trust. Unfortunately the religion we are associated with is anything but transparent but will be quick to make excuses when caught out. Compare that with how a JC would expect to see works that befit repentance from someone accused of a gross sin.

THIS NEEDS ITS OWN THREAD:: TODAY's WT Paragraph 16
by Lied2NoMore inhere is what got my spidey senses tingling: paragraph 16, reference to daniel p mannix book, was wondering if his statement was mis-quoted so i did my research.......but was even more shocked when i saw this: .
from amazon dot com reviews................ probably the most provocative work of historical fiction published this century,"those who are about to die" is pure mannix at his best.
a uncensured exploration of what likely took place in the circuses of ancient rome.

Fiction it may be but a review on Amazon refers to it as "thoroughly researched and historically accurate". Just saying

WOW Thanks for posting this. That statement about the Finished Mystery being rushed out to "fulfill prophecy" is amazing if it's backed up by evidence. I'll need to do some research on the significance of the three years etc (Rev book says nine months??) Great stuff. thanks

Dinosaurs Of Eden
by TD ini saw this at the visiting nurse book sale in february and it was too macabre to pass up.. .
the book is written by ken ham, an australian born, young earth creationist.
briefly, two children go back in time using the bible as their "time machine" and discover that dinosaurs of the entire mesozoic era coexisted with adam and eve:.
