I am very worried about this latest law that (surprise!) a Muslim immigrant wants to make into law in Canada using all of Canada's powers to stop anything that might be critical of Islam, labeling it as "Islamophobia." Well this should be very frightening to all of us here, especially since we know what happens when you are not allowed to openly criticize a religion, or a thought, or politics! Just imagine if we were not allowed to come here and discuss openly the harm, the dangers, the corruption and the problems of the JW cult and what it has done to us, to our families to our lives! Imagine that! Now that is what they are trying to do with this law in Canada! Scary but it is even worse.

Exactly what I said about an old Korean proverb that says, "never trust a man who smiles too much or talks too smoothly." That's the best translation I can find but I think the point is clear. Obama was an incredibly smooth talker. I don't want to repeat someone's personal experience with Obama as 100% fact but several people who said they knew him said he was a smooth talker, a "mac daddy" and a pathological liar. The one woman who really stood out to me was Maria Pope from Hawaii who went to the same Prudaho school as Obama and she was very sincere and spoke with authority about him. So Obama was smooth talker but he lied often and forcefully. It was not a mistake when he lied. He knew what he was doing. Trump is not the best public speaker, he fumbles for words, repeats himself and loses focus. But I do believe he is sincere as much as he can be in his position. I'm not saying he does not lie but I do believe he is not a scoundrel.

Thank you so much FatFreak for this work. You are so right that most JWs have no clue about their own history. It makes me sick and very angry. But like I said in my other posts about Islam and other world issues, knowledge is power. We have no more excuses to be ignorant now that we have the internet. Although the internet has lots of false things, fake news, bad opinions and ideas, once you have a grasp to filter out the garbage, you can be the most knowledgeable person on earth. Thank you again for this. I will be sure to pass it on.

Last Week I Got A Call From An Elder I Haven't Seen In 20 Years...😳

he started asking me questions about my family, my ex, and told me that he heard i "was no longer in the truth".

I think many elders are really well intentioned and well meaning but they start to like the power they have. The ones that are not power hungry will wake up and leave and I believe that some elders in my hall are already fading or have serious doubts.
