The OPs main reasoning follows the same failed logic as saying because good exists we must have bad, because light exists we must have darkness. It just exists!

Is the cost the issue? I'm sorry if I am missing something. Either we have a border which functions as intended or we don't. I remember that Trump went after several companies recently because he said they were charging the US tax payer too much -- Boeing was charging too much for the Air Force 1, Lockheed was charging too much for the new fighter jet and several other companies.. He met them, negotiated and got the prices reduced significantly! On the Lockheed deal he cut off $700 Million alone and said even more can be saved. This from a President who has taken no salary to save the tax payers money. I think his actions speak positively for his overall agenda, even if you don't agree with it. Give the man some time to prove himself because so far there have been more positives than negatives.

I feel so sick when I look back at how evil the JW cult is. The JW is the worst religion on earth because it alone claims to be the most holy, the closest to living the Bible and the only direct channel with God and then does everything secretly to prove otherwise!

What is most interesting if I understand this correctly, the JW cult is wholly responsible for the final actions since they provided the support to the elders who are also guilty in their own right. This is very, very good news!

Making life and death/life altering decisions based on commands from someone you're not sure exists
by jambon1 instraight from the off, i will say that i'm 100% atheist.
i have no faith.
however, it occurred to me while thinking back over my involvement with the jw religion and especially when i take into account personal and family situations where people have made life altering choices due to being jw's, just how crazy it really is.

Azor sometimes a small misunderstanding or syntax error can lead to a big fight over nothing so I'm glad we have discussed this much! No hard feelings at all I am not such a person anyways to hold bad feelings. I am like the Vulcan character in StarTrek :)
I'm glad you are here and yes I too love to debate! Its a wonderful thing in the USA to even be able to do this. I think so many Americans born here take for granted that freedom. We must remind them to always remember why we have free speech especially if we do not like what we hear! (Hint: you become like a cult like the JW where dissidents are not allowed and you become authoritarian) We may not agree on things but at least we can use debate as a way to reach a understanding or compromise.

Guilt as Motivator

i feel guilty that i haven't had it as bad as so many of you.
i feel guilty that i didn't have any jw family/friends that shunned me when i left.

Azor I never called you a JW but yes I understand how offensive that can be hehehehe I fully understand! I am also a 3rd generation JW but I have not officially left. Believe me my heart goes to you! I understand what you are going through and understand the anger. Some days I think about doing very bad things but thinking about bettering my life is what keeps me going. Some days I am so depressed and other days I am so happy. My family has lost so much because of this cult there is no way to describe what I am feeling. So we do have a lot more in common then! Here I am sending a big hug to you! Please accept :)
