One of the reddit mods (where Kim Silivio's original post was removed within about an hour) used to mod for LE's channel. I saw the name of this mod come up in a live stream chat from 2-3 years ago, actually. The name of that mod is something like lececiafox.

I'm a woman, and I was never a JW, only a Bible student. I started studying when I was getting divorced, hoping I could find some love in the Bible I guess. Definitely not.

However, having a neutral name and an anonymous avatar seems to elicit "respectful responses as though taking to a fellow man" by default, and positively identifying as a woman can invite, scorn, discrimination, disrespect, and being a target of oppression in general, by default.

His update on the "bullying campaign" proves that he is truly clueless. He has no idea what his duty of care is to his family, none whatsoever. His "addiction to prostitutes and porn" have him in a complete state of oblivion to the concerns of others. His family will suffer the burdens of taking care of daily life while he continues to preach about it being no one's business. Honestly, I have seen Christopher Hitchens take a few steps down this path defending porn, but I think LE will search hard to find any published victory by Hitchens on this topic, and I am sure Lloyd is looking hard for it. Sorry Llloyd, Hitchens didn't get that far, to my knowledge. I know he is your idol and all, and you want to be like him, but I have never seen a thesis on porn published by Hitchens that you can adopt as a defense.

People who go public on YT, or any media, are pretty brave. But public scandals usually result in the person stepping out of the public life, sometimes for quite awhile. Where is Charlie Sheen, for example? I haven't seen him around much.

Here's the thing- the thesis of Erich Fromm's book "Escape From Freedom" is that when people either cannot, or will not, think for themselves, they seek to obey a dictator, or a dictator organization such as the JDubbs.

And thinking for ourselves can in fact be very hard to do when we don't have adequate information to help us make the right choices, or at least easier choices. No, many times life is not easy, that is why people just want someone else to make decisions for them.

But I also don't agree with political polarization, like Republicans are dictators and Democrats are free thinkers. Polarizations like this surely make balanced decision making harder.

the jw memorial takes place in 5 weeks time, and kh meetings resume on april 1st.. the worldwide campaign for spectators will kick off soon, so here are 3 questions to help jw's see the org's myth that their g.b.

is going to be amongst a crowd of 144,001 melchizedek king/priests in heaven.. 1) a ransom only buys back what has been lost, so what exactly did adam lose?.

2) how can jesus' ransom correspond with what adam lost, if it buys back far more than what was lost?.

I was going to start a new post, inspired by this post, but instead I'll ask my question here. Wasn't Adam's sin destroyed with the supposed flood? If not, why not? How did everything become so corrupt again, or is the flood story just a cover up for publishing a big lie such as the Garden of Eden myth? Since false prophets can't seem to get this lie out of public circulation maybe they just create new lies in an attempt to abolish the original lie. The Garden of Eden is not a real place, never was, never will be. It could be a utopian ideal, something to aspire to if only in your own back yard, but that's all it really ever can be, I think. Anyways, to answer OPs question, I have to guess what Adam lost was his virginity.

How many of you remember the "Pioneer Shuffle " and the special "time reporting" of pioneers?

i started pioneering in my late teens an remember how slow pioneers would walk to the doors while out in circus.

also, they would not really talk to anybody at all.

they would start their time as soon as they got dressed an out the door, while us regular shucks started our time at the first door we knocked at.

So irritating that they even call it pioneering. To my ears it is obvious they believe they are the pioneers for "the promised land" which is literally what many people coming over from Europe to America actually did believe, and who were the literal pioneers.

My neighbor is a JW. He took revenge on me for telling two JW's who came through my open gate to my cabin not to come back. He took revenge by abducting my free roaming indoor/outdoor much loved cat, and abandoning my cat in a middle of nowhere town 25 miles away. A lady posted him as found on Facebook so I was lucky to get him back. I really wanted to call his congregation and inform them, but I was pretty sure since there were no witnesses, much less two witnesses, that they wouldn't believe me. Instead I just had to send him a cease and desist letter informing him if he abducted my cat, or, by then, a mother cat with semi-ferals I was fostering I would seek an order of protection from him.

He has a huge warehouse of heavy equipment on his property, visible from my door. A real eye sore in a beautiful forest. The warehouse is full of heavy equipment for property development, though his own property is over grown brambles. It's my guess he has fantasies of Armageddon where everyone in the neighborhood will die and he can plow over the neighborhood and create his own personal paradise.

Anyone else remember the Awake saying this?

i may have put this in the wrong thread.

if so, i'm sorry.. my conundrum is this.... i am almost completely certain that an awake back in the 80's/90's mentioned a group of rock bands we shouldn't listen to and i seem to remember them actually naming guns and roses.. i can't find anything now, and i'm wondering if it's the mandela effect, or if it's another case of the cdrom versions of the awakes being doctored again.. does anyone else remember this?

or am i crazy?

Ironic. Did the Circuit Overseer also mention that a "garden" is symbolic for the womb, and the serpent is symbolic for the penis- in other words, male and female sexual organs?

It's all sexual fantasy, in my opinion, which is why religion seems to attract so many pervs. Many of these songs are in fact erotic passion and are influential. I don't think the solution is to ban them, though. It's to recognize them for erotic passion, and perhaps not confuse erotic passion with "love." Also, I think I mentioned somewhere on this forum that the Garden of Eden myth is just a plagiarized version of the Greek myth the Garden of Hespirides, in my opinion.

The letter from the "lawyer" sounds like Lloyd is being scammed by Nigerian scammers he found on the internet, although I suppose the poor quality could be the result of a poor language translator. The incorrect lower case and capitalizations doesn't seem like a poor translator is the most likely possibility though. If poor Lloyd is now the victim of Nigerian scammers, now they will never leave him alone!

This was really a ridiculous letter that can't be respected. He seems to be moving from bad to worse.

The question of "jurisdiction" can be tricky in the age of modern internet where court hearings are regularly held online, especially during Covid. I am familiar with a recent case of a You Tuber named Karen Yax (also known as The Critical Kay) who is being sued for defamation by a woman named Rae Andreacchio (Andreacchio v. Yax). Yax lives in Michigan, and Andreacchio lives in another State (I can't remember which). Yax tried to get the case dismissed for lack of jurisdiction but it was rejected because Yax directed/targeted her alleged defamation into the State where Andreacchio lives. It is scheduled for trial next December.

It is strange how LE is now guilty of the same things he accuses the WTS of- covering up a sex scandal. As has been mentioned by others, even if the prostitutes were of the legal age of consent at the time he engaged with them, it is likely that they were under age at the time they entered the business. It would be equally strange if scammer Lloyd is being scammed. Sanitizing his comment section to allow his viewers to hear only what he has to say is what makes him a scammer. It's also what Dictators do. Our only choice is to do the hard work ourselves, not knowing the outcome, or submit to a Dictator.

Honestly, (and I don't want to sound anti-semitic, because I'm not, the holocaust was real and despicable) paradise is a fantasy land where some Jewish fathers strangely envisioned a world where only Jewish people existed, or were favored by God, and anyone else was a slave. Paradise is probably a sexual fantasy, actually. If nothing else, it is probably a plagiarized myth from the Greek myth "Garden of Hespirides."

"Feminism," at least from my point of view, is "humanitarianism" without super-naturalism. The fact that snakes don't talk is just the beginning and the end of these fantasies. All women have the right to speak against being blamed for believing in talking snakes.
