  The Animal Sentience Bill - what next?

  so, in the uk there was recently a bill which was nodded through parliament - the animal sentience bill - which was backed by vegan activists.. dogs, cats.

  cows, even lobsters now have been recognised to have feelings.. first of all, let me say that if you want to go vegan that's fine with me.

  we're all allowed our individual dietary choices.. but for how much longer?

  my in-laws are two such people.

  people who pioneered and did not work and try to save, instead they made just enough to get by and waited for the end to come.

  now my mil is in palliative care and the state is paying for her keep, my fil lives in a dilapidated home and can not keep it up.

  A 78 year old elder who was never going to go to school in this system is now scraping by trying to get odd painting jobs to try to keep afloat financially. Always complaining that he and his wife never worked enough to build up any (United States) social security benefits to even pay the bills consistently.

  Another late seventies fellow who can barely walk due to nerve and back damage who never built up anything in the social security reserve, or saved anything through banking or investments, now slowly and painfully working in his own heavy equipment mechanic shop by himself and wishing there was someone to help him, and not able to afford either the time from work or the money to get needed medical treatment.

  Many more that I know personally, and to a person they still conDAMN me for having worked full time, set aside savings and investments, having been able to retire before I was 50, and now living on the fruits of my stored labor, and they have the nerve to still ask if I might be able to offer financial help.

  Not only "no", but 'HELL NO!"

  so janet yellen, the us treasury secretary, thinks taxing unrealized capital gains would be a way for them to fund their runaway spending.. first, they claimed that the real cost of their nonsense spending was $0, so they were lying then or are lying now ("why not both?!").

  second, they claimed that money printing doesn't affect inflation, so why not just print the money instead?.

  third, the "for billionaires" is to get the feeble minded masses on board, those that live on benefits and vote democrat for more "free money", but the irs monitoring of $600 bank accounts is also apparently to target the ultra-wealthy as well.

  Normal people would think so, however there are too damned many lazy, perpetual poor welfare leeches who will stand with their hands out to ever get a decent citizen revolt off the ground.

  They couldn't do much more damage if they set out specifically to destroy the economy, so you start to wonder - is that the real plan?

  Yep, when I was still running on the hamster wheel I was told that many times. When I asked what I needed to do different I was told, "Just keep doing what you are doing." I replied that if what I was to just keep doing what I was doing then it was good enough, and if what I was doing was not good enough that I could do something different. So I did do something different. I got FedUp, got off the hamster wheel, quit giving any $$$$$, quit helping anyone other than the ignored older ones, handicapped, and ones who the Pharisees in Jesus day called, an elders today treat as am ha'aretz or uneducated Jews/JW's, who were deemed likely to be negligent in their observance of the commandments due to their ignorance, and those boorish, uncivilized, ignorant.

  Growing up around firearms I remember my dad drilling into me that, "There is NO SUCH THING as an 'accidental' shooting death." There is also, "NO SUCH THING as an 'unloaded' gun." And you, "NEVER point a firearm at something and pull the trigger unless you fully intend to kill what you are pointing the gun at." If those three firearms safety rules had been followed someone who is dead now would still be alive.
