Using Illegal Means for Righteous Activism

i wanted to get people's opinion on something.

how do you feel when people use illegal means while performing their activism to shed light on the watchtower.

there have been people who have illegally recorded conversations with elders and with branch offices or at meetings.

There is an old adage..."Fight fire with fire."

Before the days of small digital recorders I was asked to participate in a JC inquiry about an alleged wrongdoing. When I arrived, of course the lying accuser was nowhere to be seen, just the three judges and the accusation. So I politely informed them that the entire proceeding was going to be recorded by multiple "eye witnesses" to their JC meeting. They excused me and said they would get back to me at a later date. I did not tell them that it would be angels, Jesus, and God himself "recording" everything said. Is that "spiritual warfare"?

JW Kids Bullying My Daughter

trying not to type swearwords as i write this so bare with me.. my little 3yo attends meetings with her jw mum (who doesn't believe watchtower anymore but is stuck in because she relies on her family for help).

my mum (the one who tells people im dead) had a party for her grandchildren.

that's my 4 nieces and 1 nephew aged from 3yo-11yo.

So sad, and makes me as angry as one can be, but this is NOT an isolated incident in the JW community.

This is the normal way of treating the young ones. I know personally of a young four year old that was sternly informed by her grandmother that she(the little girl) was, "going to die at Armageddon, and I am going to watch the birds pecking out your dead eyes!"

A cult that promotes joy over other peoples deaths is nothing but pure poison.

Sunday's W.T angered me + I found an ironic scripture

during the "do you love me more than these" watchtower study on sunday, i got so angry on many occasions, hearing people make comments like "if you enjoy your job, you're an enemy of jehovah" and "the only reason we're here is to preach.

work and relaxation only exist to help us to preach".. the paragraph talking about the "do more!

" attitude in the world getting people down really got me down just reading it, as it applies so much to the borg.. i also found the ecclesiastes scripture quoted to be ironic, as the rest of the article tells is that nothing is better or more of a priority than to preach;.

WHAT? That is a very selfish view of oneself and/or their family. Don't we all know that if we just ignore everything other than door knocking and parroting third grade answers to pre-arranged questions that Jehovah is going to magically make sure all your wants and desires, as long as they match the WT agenda, are met?

in genesis god allows satan after deceiving the first human pair to go relatively unpunished for thousands of years interacting between heaven and earth at will.. the so called punishment is not to take effect until thousands of years later.. in the meantime .. the wager ( ?

) between jehovah and satan over jobs loyalty in question ,and obviously satan still having communication with god in the heavens.

There is nothing in JW rules that prevent elders having occasional communication with DFed ones. In fact they are told to catch up with them once a year.

That has actually changed now. No longer do they make contact with DF'd ones. Only if they should happen across them in their "serve us", and if the DF'd one is either known to them or informs them they are DF'd. Then they just give them the Return to Jehovah pamphlet. This told to me personally by the local COBE. Can't have those oh so important elders wasting time looking for "lost" sheep like the shepherd in Jesus parable now can we.

Marry only in the Lord

the second half of 1 corinthians 7:39 reads "...she is free to be married to whomever she wants, only in the lord.".

so we all know that scripture for being doctrine for witnesses when they select a marriage mate and how they are strictly encouraged to marry amongst themselves and look down upon or marked if they marry an outsider.

i have a friend who met a worldly man and when it came to light, her father gave her the option to end the relationship or to marry him, and she chose the latter.

I feel that deep down they'd rather a single woman not marry anybody at all because they know once she's married they can't pester her to do favors.

That is so true.

The religion couldn't care less if single women ended up poor or dead. This is why I was SO right to have never listened to these sonofabitches!!!

so as i sit here listening to the sunday morning bs session the elder on the stage yapped about religion and that there can only be one religion leading to god.

But they are WRONG, there is only ONE religion that leads to God.

I thought what a stupid illustration.

I don't know of ANY bicycle that can be ridden with wheels that have only ONE SPOKE!

A WTF Moment While In the WTS

has anyone else had a moment, while still within the organization (and before learning ttatt) that caused them to stop and go, "this is kind of messed up.".

for instance, back i believe in the early 2000's, i was attending a dc with my family.

it was announced at the beginning of the convention that there was going to be a special announcement at the end, so for everyone to please try to remain until the very end of the meeting.

But personally- it was the abuse of power by the elders that led me to many of my WTF ? moments.

That is spot on. Being loaded up with crap chores that the elders had no desire to do and never getting any of the so-called perks that should have gone with them. Being told that because I asked why not, when, and what I had to do to "qualify" for appointment I was showing that I was only interested in recognition. I replied with (Matthew 25:21) 21 His master said to him: ‘Well done, good and faithful slave! You were faithful over a few things. I will appoint you over many things. Enter into the joy of your master.. . .
Of course that went over like a fart in church!

Then being told in a "special" backroom meeting that the real reason I didn't qualify was that I had been married more than just once, and the requirements were to be a husband of ONE wife. And that made me reprehensible.

Finally got fed up with the made up BS and chose to be nothing other than a chair warmer[for family reasons] and do whatever I could to be a thorn in their sides.
