  (in fact, i remember a thread post here a few years back, where it was mentioned that all halls are going to get the jw.org signs on them.

  Pioneers Living With Married Couple

  so ... situation:.

  a baptized married couple, with no privileges that we know of, have opened their home to 2 unmarried regular pioneers because of the pioneers' financial issues (limited income).. - husband works from home.

  - wife doesn't work and stays home or in service.

  I may be alone in this observation, but I have noticed it seems that whenever WT asks a question then begins their answer with the words, "You would likely....", it ALWAYS means they are going to try to convince you that YOUR answer is WRONG!

  I may have to try to peruse this WT to see if that observation still holds true.

  From the SAME WT. So which is it WT governing body? Either they received this "invitation" from God himself through HS and they do not need your witness or verification and YOU are wrong, or they are wrong and are mentally screwed up and God's HS really doesn't matter! It amazes me that there are still nitwits who slurp this swill up and call it "food at the proper time"!

  it's only a matter of time of course..... jw rumor mills will start up soon, with stories of how jws were "first on the scene" as the flood waters receded..... how the red cross and/or us national guard and/or doctors without borders and/or [you name it] were marveling at just how "organized" the jws are..... how zealous jws were pulling their trolleys thru ankle-deep water to "offer comfort" to victims, by giving them - sandwiches?

  to offer them comfort by giving them 16 page "magazines" to read in their spare time..... so as the stories start to come in, you can "deposit" those little nuggets of bs here.. once collected, we'll wrap them in a pretty bow and flush them away where other instances of pure manure go..

  What is all of us that are still fading for whatever reasons were to begin emailing this to all the brothers/sisters we still have contact with, with some gushing words of wonderment about how wonderful the "spiritual paradise" is?

  Kingdom Halls open to hurricane flood victims??

  there are other threads dealing with jws actions, or non-actions in response to the houston flooding.

  i started this thread to find out specifically if kingdom halls, or assembly halls are being used to help victims.

  not just other jws, but innocent victims of all walks: men, women, children & pets.

  Could, but probably won't, I expect.

  Probably? Definitely will not. After all the KH is for meetings to indoctrinate the members, not for any genuine helping of strangers.

  Of course I may be wrong. They may open up the KH front door so that some pioneer in super good standing can get a cart and set up, just in case some needy person shows up, then they can throw a Watchtower at them and wish them to "go in peace, keep warm and well fed"!

  Pretty sure there will be war soon, having a hot headed loon in charge of NK and another one as POTUS makes it almost inevitable.

  ANGOLA - JW Regional Convention target of attack.

  according to news sources in luanda, angola (read it here, although it's in portuguese language), a regional convention of the jw's taking place this weekend at the outskirts of capital luanda was targeted yesterday, friday, by what may be described as a 'terrorist attack'.. more than 400 attendees (mostly female) passed out in rapid succession in the vicinity of a toilet at the convention place.

  reportedly, toxic gas devices were planted there by 3 young members of unita, the main political party that opposed mpla, the dominant regime party in angola since its independence in 1975.

  43 people were rushed to the hospital and a few remain there, under medical surveillance.

  Okay, I know this is a serious topic and I probably shouldn't see humor in it, however I have to say that I have passed by some regional convention toilet rooms that would have gagged a maggot. Sometimes the "cleanest" people on earth just ain't so clean.
