  from the november 2019 watchtower study edition.. how many of you would like to know what the brothers and sisters would respond to this question.

  also, if you went into a hall how would you like to respond to the question.. 8. how should we respond to lies?.

  Well we all KNOW that only Jehovahs Witlesses speak the truth. So it would follow that anything that a non-Jehovahs Witless says would HAVE to be a lie. So we must NEVER listen to what anyone other than baptized, preferably appointed elders, have to say as everything else said is A LIE and we must cover our ears against them!
  

  I wonder if they would get the sarcasm? Probably not. Of course I seldom show up anymore, and on the very few occasions I do I no longer get called on to comment. No great loss.

  I noticed the comment to eldurrs that the Congregation "Bible" Study has been adjusted to 30 minutes or less. After the assigned material has been thoroughly covered, there is no need to prolong the study.

  HALLELUJAH!!! It was downright painful to listen to those wannabe "teachers" trying to drag out the already boring study.

  mrs nic' and i were 16 and 18 years old respectively when we first met at a circuit assembly in corby.

  three years later we were married.

  we've had a great time, we're very lucky but looking back i can see how crazy it is to put that pressure to marry on teenagers.

  Seeking advice

  i'm not a jw, nor was i raised jw.

  for the past three years i have been involved with a man who was raised jw, who at first told me he no longer believed as they did, but who, it has become clear over time, has not told his family or religious community the truth.

  he has strung me along for years, never introduced me to anyone in his life.

  He is 32. He still lives with his parents. He is not financially independent.

  Even outside the realm of WT that is someone no thinking female would get involved with. I will be very blunt, ARE YOU CRAZY?? Drop that loser like a hot rock and move on!

  Reinstatement/dating

  a month ago i was reinstated as a jehovah’s witness.

  he was not disfellowshipped.

  in my meeting i was told that i could not become involved with the man that i committed a sin with, which is adultery once i’m reinstated.

  Screw them. They make the rules up as they go, and you will find that no matter what you do, once they have you on their radar they will try to assert what little power they have over you and you will be driven hither and thither like a buoy driven by the waves of the ocean until they finally GOTCHA.

  If you want to be their puppet you can choose to carry on, otherwise go live your life and BE HAPPY.
