The Oxygen Special...
by Biahi injust talked to my pimi mom about this special, of course she saw it advertised, but didn’t watch it.
she told me those programs are “ apostate lies.” i asked her if people magazine is apostate.
she said no, but the one who wrote the article is.

Google Drive has already stopped access as the number of views allowed has been exceeded. That may be a good thing.

Allowed?
by punkofnice ina jobo i know has cancer.
her son goes and cleans her house and generally cares for her.
so does another non-jobo relative.. the congregation, interestingly, has shown very little support apart from the odd one rabbiting on about 'bible promises this and that'.. so, the co visited and said, 'but your son is an apostate(tm).

Great revision on that parable. However, may I be so bold as to change the last few sentences?
The next day he took out two quid, gave them to the innkeeper, and said: ‘Take care of him, and whatever you spend besides this, I will repay you when I return.' Upon hearing of the apostate's kindness the circuit overseer, and the elder enlisted a third elder; and promptly disfellowshipped the victim of the robbers while he was still in poor health at the inn for "associating" with the apostate and not showing up for his inquisition.
Sorry, I could not help but remember what happened after a car accident to my former sister-in-law, and how two self-righteous, pompous elders treated her.

The congregation,
interestinglynaturally, has shownvery littleno support...This is how I found the CONgregation where my parents lived to be. Once my parents health failed and the cash stopped flowing towards JW's they became persona non grata. The SOB's will bind heavy loads on the rank and file but never lift a finger to help.

Every JW should watch it!
Except the ones who most need to see and understand it, will never watch it. They will blindly follow governing Pope Lett's instructions to ignore "apostates" lies. And sadly the abuse will continue. Unless or until someone finally takes matters into their own hands.

Have You Ever Been Scammed?
by minimus inof course we all were scammed while we were jehovah’s witnesses.
i’m thinking of ways besides religion.. a popular scam is to get a call from your electric company saying they overbilled you and needed to verify your name, address and social security number.
then they will send you your money back.

I have never been scammed, although I am still waiting for that $10,000,000 US payout that I was promised if only I gave my Social security number, address, date of birth, bank routing and account number to that nice prince from Nigeria so he could deposit it directly into my account, which for some reason now is overdrawn.

Former elders did you ever ?
by Fadeaway1962 inhi did any former elders ever suggest that bro & sis should go to the police?.
there was a group of sis with various health conditions and on medications had a gathering and drank a lot wine , one of the sister physically assaulted another sis , myself and a another elder were assigned to deal with it after hearing what happened i said to the sis she could contact the police the other elder a lot older gave me a dirty look , the sis said i trust you bro to deal with it .. i think that's why witnesses don't get the police involved because we have been convinced that we can trust the elders and the organisation , and to trust and have faith that god knows all the facts and can read hearts and will deal with it in his time scale and encouraged to leave it with him and not to bring reproach on his name..

Police are good
I would respectfully disagree. Police are necessary, but it has been decades since they could be called "good", at least in my recent dealings with them as a victim of burglaries, vandalism, and threatened violence.

Before cutting my hair my witness barber had to check with Bethel...really? Not a cult?
by Witness 007 ini was balding and grey so i asked my witness barber friend to "just shave it all off" many brothers were doing the comb over which looked friggin stupid.
but oh no in the 1990's this was rebellious he had to call a brother we knew at bethel to see if it was ok. we got his ok to go ahead but at the time i could help thinking about the no beard rule and how controlled and cultish we were..

many JWs are simply incapable of making choices or decisions on their own , even on a quite simple level.
Back when I was still in the beginning stages of the fade, while out in serve us one Saturday morning I stopped at every stop sign and bowed my head for a moment before proceeding through the intersection. When the car load of other fellows riding along finally got exasperated enough with my foolish driving they asked what I was doing. I laughed and told them I was just following "mothers" advice.
*** w11 11/15 p. 8 pars. 12-13 “Do Not Lean Upon Your Own Understanding” *** What should we do when confronted with situations that may seem easier to resolve—perhaps because past experience allows us to think of a solution quickly? David went to Jehovah in prayer. When faced with a familiar situation or problem, we must exercise caution that we do not rely solely on past experience.
I said I was not relying on past driving experience but "Praying" for help to decide how to proceed through the intersection as the WT said we must. I don't think they get the point of how stupid some of them allow themselves to become when it comes to decision making.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA----------------------GASP----------------------HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Sorry, I have heard that garbage too many times in the last five decades about every single last "special" meeting, and they are nothing but a boring snooze fest about ten toes, or some other minutiae.
