  No-Sew Covid-19 Face-Mask using Shop Towel

  now that the medical advice seem to be coming round to actually giving honest advice, it's good to have a mask.

  weeks wasted and god knows how many infected that didn't need to be, but now there's no excuse for not wearing one ... other than you may not have any.. you can make them of course, if you have a sewing machine.

  but even if you don't, you can make one using the blue shop-towel, a couple of elastic bands and a stapler.

  Exactly as the two comments above I plainly saw that it could just as easily apply to WT. Make BIG promises...then never deliver. Oh but wait, not having been able to watch more than one or two minutes, did they manage to force in a plea for more money?

  If they know, they do not care.

  I forwarded an article about ZOOM privacy and hijacking issues to someone in my area and they replied that, "The governing body has this under control. They would never do anything that would compromise the flock. Jehovah is directing them, and can protect us from any issues with privacy or computer malware or virus' as long as we listen and obey the 'slave' ".

  I got a call yesterday. Just a, "The circuit overseer told us we have to call everyone in our group(I am still being listed for some reason) EVERY DAY to see if they are okay," when I asked how he was. Then he began with the, "This is the start of the GT. We have to look out for the sheep," and I reminded him they taught Babylon the Great had to fall first and wondered why he had never bothered to call in the past, ever. The only reply before he hung up was, "Well we all have to listen and obey the governing body, it means our lives."

  The Watchtower Society writes with such assurance that it really doesn't matter to it's readers and public speakers what they are saying.

  I personally believe that the WT subscribes to the "If You Can't Dazzle Them With Brilliance, Baffle Them With Bullshit" writing model.

  the behavior from the org lately had me a bit confused, as it seemed to fall outside of their norm.

  i'm not talking the hardcore armageddon wishers texting each other about peace and security, etc.

  * but, the elders contacting people daily, and having extra meetings where they have all their additional rules.

  Yes, they're trying very hard to make sure the JW are still controlled, kept busy, and given some sort of superficial purpose.

  In my area it is letter writing...letter writing...letter writing. They yap on about how important it is. Even claiming that the COVID-19 is brought on by Gee-HO'-Vuh so that the JW's will have to use letter writing to, "...reach everyone now in the LAST FEW SECONDS BEFORE ARMAGEDDON."

  Think of the amount of paper wasted that just gets tossed in the trash.

  Legal Concerns About "Zoom" Meetings!

  this whole "zoom" thing has got me wondering whether some of it is legal or not.

  if a person has to dress up for a zoom meeting the way the watchtower dictates, doesn't this really go "beyond" cult?.

  even the cults who committed mass suicide were able to dress the way they wanted for their meetings.

  ...what about the old ones who aren't tech wise?

  Screw them would be the normal reaction from the Dubs. They care not a bit about the older ones who have been chewed up and spit out by the congregations. They consider them to be worthless now. I saw that first hand with my own parents. People who had received thousands of dollars of their financial aid, hospitality, and hundreds of hours of emotional support, turned on them like the snakes they really are as soon as my parents age along with the infirmities that go along with aging caught up with them.
