  Guns...Are You For or Against Legally Owning Them?

  there is a surge going on of people buying guns, especially first time buyers.

  with talk of police defunding and rioting in the neighborhoods, some people want to protect themselves.. do you support owning and using a gun if needed?.

  I have a CWP. I carry all the time. I am not afraid. I am not "compensating". I have concealed carried for over four decades. I do find that the responsibility of doing so tends to make me more tolerant of other people's stupidity. And yes, there have been two or three times that a firearm was put into play, but so far I have never had to pull the trigger, as ill-mannered criminally engaged idiots settle right down very quickly when they only see the presence of even an un-holstered sidearm. Then the police deal with them when they finally arrive.

  In the USA, why so often is the vote for President just a vote against someone?

  in my lifetime, (i will include kennedy even though i was probably breast-feeding at the time), but it seems that there have been relatively few presidents that we vote "for.

  " my list would be kennedy, reagan, clinton and obama.

  i'm not talking about their politics here but who generally got voted for, instead of simply voting against.. any thoughts?.

  Told one Sunday morning nearly twelve years ago by a substitute conductor that I would not be permitted my assigned turn to read the WT that morning because it was about "marrying only in the Lord" and over a decade earlier I had married "out of duh troof".

  Asked why that made a difference as she had divorced me and I had been single for a LONG time. Told that it was holy spirit that prevented me from reading, even though I had read the same material in other WT "studies" over the years between. Told that I was reprehensible, and came home and started looking online for information from independent sources about other people experiences with WT B.S. and the rest is history, as they say.

  many of us have watched the gb #4 update.

  most of us jumped for joy when they basically said that there will be no meeting in person for a long time to come.. one aspect we overlooked was how hard they hit home the "love of neighbor".

  how this "love" is what makes a true christian and as a result our love for our neighbors will motivate us to stay at home.. well now they released a letter that is instructing all kh's to view this video during their local needs part.

  That said, what about old faithful people with no internet access?

  Who cares about them? Certainly no elders. They didn't give a flying fornicate about my elderly parents, going so far as to openly ridicule my mother suffering from Alzheimer's, and antagonize my grieving father prior to both parents deaths.   Because your local gestappo(elders) know where you are now, at home.

  For some personal reasons I still have to tune in to the ZOOM garbage.

  I just log in, use no camera or mic, and go about my business as normal. There is no way with the sound and video off on my end that they know what I am doing while logged on. Last Sunday I used that two hours to go grocery shopping, and vacuum the living room. When it was close to the time the meeting would end I checked the computer, saw that they were doing the last prayer, and as soon as the final "Amen" was said I clicked on the "Leave Meeting" button and was on to the next activity for the day.

  One of top four leftist House of Reprehensible's in the U.S. made the statement right after their TDS driven SCAM-peachment farce failed to remove Trump that the only tool they had left to destroy him was if they could tank the economy and ruin his chances of being reelected.

  Strange how prior to that they were telling everyone to go out to Chinatown, ride the subways, don't wear masks, and so on. Then their tune changed and they "weaponized" the corona dempanic with a complicit media in their last ditch rabid attempts to take out a sitting U.S. president that wasn't part of their good ol' boys swamp; even if it meant killing fellow citizens and ruining citizens lives.

  Personally I think they only way to eliminate this virus is for all governments to declare martial law and mandate that no one may set foot outside of their home. Then shoot anyone they find outside and burn the body. As people are either shot, starve to death in their homes, or finally do the decent thing and commit mass suicide, the virus will eventually die out, and the earth can be used for nothing other than the animals and plants as it whirls through space. . .finally depopulated.
