  How much do Elders actually get along with each other?

  i was reading in the shepherding book that elders should “ cul­tivate and maintain friendships with one another.”, and thought to myself “bulls$it!” i remember that most of the elders in my old congregation were nothing but nasty asses.

  i know it may vary from congregation to congregation, but do elders generally get along with each other behind closed doors in elders meetings?

  or, are they often in conflict with each other?

  My observation - Elder #1 "compensates" by trying to lord it over the rest of the elders, the congregation, and loves to have the front seats in the synago-I mean the kingdom hall.

  Elder #2 - Completely deaf, and so all elder #1 has to do is paste on his best fake smile as he looks at elder #2 while spouting the most idiotic B.S. and elder #2 just grins and says "Okay" to everything because he didn't hear a word of what was said.

  Elder#3 - Hates any kind of confrontation and is under the thumb of elder #1, and his usual reply to anything is just a shoulder shrug.

  They don't have much of anything to do with each other.

  What useful piece of literature have the JW produced?

  seeing on another post here about former jws throwing away literature.

  i am curious as to the various opinions on there value.. for me i have been inactive for 3 years almost 4. i still have alot of books and of course all their bibles ever produced (except a few from the 1800s.).

  in my opinion i think there are four books the jws produced that are useful:.

  Every piece of literature produced is very useful. . .

  . . .but then again I have a wood-burner that gets pretty hungry for combustible fuel.

  Seriously though, I always liked the Commentary on James book. Of course now the type of Christian attitude that it encourages would never be tolerated in the "loving" organization.

  I remember one who came from Wyoming (USA). She was not unattractive, had a pleasant personality, and a real a--hole for a husband. If he ever caught sight of her even passing a word or two with ANY brother he was at her side in a flash, physically getting between her and whomever she was visiting with, and would clench her arm and move her away.

  I felt sorry for her as she was obviously tied down to an abusive, "little" man with a big ego.

  the POOR who typically will be the ones without drivers licences (no car(, passports (no foreign holidays) , no rent card or any number of other documents that comfortable people take for granted.

  Always seem able to make it to the government welfare office and get the required documents to prove who they are when it comes time to get in line for free stuff though!

  No, it is here to stay just like the cold virus and flu virus.
  

  Will a vaccine end this pandemic?

  No, the best to hope for is another type of flu virus vaccine that lessons the symptoms when people come down with it as they surely will continue to do. Trying to get a vaccine that ends the virus will be exactly as successful as flu vaccines have been in eliminating all flu virus', or HIV vaccines that end that virus.

  Only to the degree the media and the left quit hyping it 24/7, especially in the U.S. as an anti-Trump weapon.
  

  Will we just learn to live with the virus like we do with yearly flus?

  Somewhat. People will have to adjust to living with permanent 365/24/7 mask mandates, "social" distancing, restrictions on family gatherings, restrictions on travel, loss of businesses, loss of income, loss of investments, loss of personal freedom to decide for oneself how to live your life. The government(s) have tasted the sweet taste of control over the masses and will never relinquish that. Get used to it.

  evidently it would seem the wt sold the rights and will get royalties from "listen obey and be blessed.." this obviously is a trial balloon for what's to come.

  kim and mikey alluded to this and i have been wondering why they are planning on spending hundreds of millions on a new movie studio in n.y. and also in australia just for the benefit of the few million jdub's.

  well here's the answer, they are going to make money off the royalties from their music and video content selling to other church groups.
