  Where have the NWT Bible changed verses to fit their theology ?

  There is a quote in the book of Hebrews that is a direct quote from the Old Testament where is changes back to Lord or the verse would say Jesus is jehovah.

  From my minor studies on the subject if the New Testament is to be taken at face value , it appears the Tetragrammaton is applied both to god and Christ equally. The addition and subjecting of the word jehovah really changes things. It’s not a minor change. It basically creates a new religion.

  I am not really sure this is a rabbit hole I want to go down.

  My comment on voter turn out being was based on covid and stupid people ignoring how dangerous it is.

  Generally Trump supporters fall into this category.

  Without Covid Biden would win hands down.

  The Ken Jennings Mormon thing just blows me away also. Here is this guy who is smart as the internet and believes in the story of Joseph Smith and the golden plates.

  Mormons are harmless though IMHO.

  We use to have a doctor at our old hall. He was African and a born in but man ....................... I just felt like walking up to him and shaking him " What the Fuck Man ". How could he sit there and listen to them trash higher education and not wake up.

  His kids were also in organized sports and he seemed to receive a free pass from the elders on that one. Actually I think he could have done whatever he wanted and they would have turned a blind eye. He was smart and had money.

  ( The African part was Africans tend to be more religious, whatever sect or cult they belong too. Not a slang on Black people ).

  I predict this election will have a voter turn out of maybe 25% or less. I don't think voting is worth catching covid. The entire election will be a farce.

  That being said I think Trump voters are more likely to stand shoulder to shoulder in poorly ventilated spaces than Biden voters.

  I think the Democrats could stand a chance if they would have picked a candidate who was a little younger with a little more personality. Its almost as bad as when the Republicans picked McCain.

  What do I know, I am not even American.

  Did you feel contempt for Non Witnesses

  the other day i went to this farm owned by this jw lady with my wife being a jw and my mother being a non witness.

  later taking to my mother she noticed this vibe like this jw lady really hated her.

  she just had these little slags like when we tried to pay for the fruit we picked , she looked directly at my wife and said " don't worry about it, i only charge wordly people ".. i also have this aunt who is a jw we are estranged from.

  So what camp does everyone fall into to ?

  a. Raised by Uber zeolites, didn’t know much or anything about the non witness family, if there even was any.

  b. Converted to the cult. Turned back or slowly grew apart with non witness family.

  c. Lived a peaceful and respectful existence with non witness family.

  My wife is kind of weird. She is quite close with cousin who is with her husband is a Methodist minister team. They just don’t talk religion.

  One day her Uber friend came with her and once in the house of her cousin she pulled out some watchtowers . Her cousin was kind of pissed off about it . When the Uber left she remarked to my wife how rude she thought her cousin was. FFS

  I have always found it odd how little contact they have with Non jw non immediate family. For years we have always invited my aunt , uncle and cousins to every wedding, funeral , family reunion ......even before we had a falling out.
  Nothing, nada, zero. Not even a reply.

Later taking to my mother she noticed this vibe like this JW lady really hated her.   I also have this Aunt who is a JW we are estranged from. She was married to my Uncle who passed from cancer years ago. When he got sick we said some things to her about him getting rest and not eating quick and processed foods. Of course she took that as we were opposers since they were both pioneers. Never had the time to cook a healthy or proper meal. I often wonder how many active JWs actually go to family reunions.

  Do these people realize when they are trying to convert people that people do pick up on the " we hate you vibe ", or am i seeing something that isn't there.
