I don't consider myself a hardcore conservative and i do understand there are desperate women in desperste situations but FFS some of these laws the democrats are trying to pass are just ghoulish.

i have been studying with jehovah's witnesses for approximately two years.
initially, i liked the studies and felt that i was growing closer to god.
however, as the studies progressed, they seemed to become increasingly negative and i did not like what i was being taught.
I hope you saw how it really just teaches the unique legalisms and dogmas of the WTS with a sprinkling of bible verses with no real understanding of the bible narrative.
Nothing you learned would be comparable to a bible school or theological collage.

I hope Trump makes this an election issue. I don't think abortion is a black and white issue but anyone who voted against this needs to he called out.

I was raised evangelical and I can assure you a one hour motivational speech on Sunday morning is nothing compared to the WTS. Also don't try and tell me some of these nutty fringe groups like potters house or westbourgh baptist church represent the evangelical church.

a, I don't give a shit about religious dogma. The WTS destroys lives and families . Comparing it to evangelical the church isn't a fair comparison.
b. The trinity is based on the idea Jesus was the visible touchable manifestion of God or Lord in the old testament. Its not about proof texts. it's about having a basic understanding of the bible narrative.
It's sad when you can't see the forest because of all the trees in the way.
