Well when I was younger, I would amuse myself by thinking about all of the great food I'd have afterwards. Going out to a restaurant that night used to be a big thing, but I don't care to do that anymore. Now I don't really do anything to amuse myself. I just grin and bear it. And the whole show is about watching a SELECT FEW pass their germs around. You know that 1 weirdo, maybe 2. They're the ones that have deluded themselves into thinking that they will die and immediately go Super Saiyan Ultra Instinct, ready to mercilessly slaughter anyone who isn't baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Observed at the Memorial
by john.prestor inso i went to the memorial the other night, there's a kingdom hall on the bus route back from a local college where i was doing some research and admiring the architecture.
i'm in my street clothes, i look nice but i stood out like a sore thumb.
i went in as it started and got a seat in the back.

What surprises me as a born in JW is the fact that even when someone claims to be of the anointed, absolutely nobody believes them. Someone partook of the emblems last night at my kingdom hall, and there was a person right next to me (an attendant) that audibly disagreed with it. I mean he actually made a sound of disdain, and he DID NOT try to hide it. The person that partook is well known in our congregation. If they'll do that to their own "brothers and sisters", then you know how they feel about outsiders. Don't feel bad.

This is also my first time watching this movie on HD flat-screen, and Anne Baxter's nipples make me think...thoughts.

Who's watching? I probably won't watch the whole thing, but I'll tune in here and there. This will be my first time watching from a PIMO/TTATT point of view. Even though it's most likely that none of this stuff ever happened, I still consider this to be one of the greatest cinematic achievements of all time. -

New Blood policy for JW medical professionals?

this just in from a close & trusted source, names & local places redacted for obvious reasons:.

I don't see how this could be that big of a problem if true. I would imagine that there are more than enough people on a medical staff to get someone a transfusion if the need arises, regardless of what one JW has to say about it.
The talking snake thing is an interesting point, but one thing people forget to mention is the talking donkey. And don't forget the witch of Endor. So let's see...we have a talking snake, a talking donkey, giant demon/human hybrids, a dragon, and a witch amongst a lot of other craziness. What does Wikipedia have to say about all of this?
From Wikipedia: A fairy tale, wonder tale, magic tale, or Märchen is a folklore genre that takes the form of a short story. Such stories typically feature entities such as dwarfs, dragons, elves, fairies, giants, gnomes, goblins, griffins, mermaids, talking animals, trolls, unicorns, or witches, and usually magic or enchantments. (Some translations of the Bible mention unicorns.)

Maybe Witnesses are the "world"
by nowawake14 ini just realized that maybe witnesses are the world, because of all the hypocrisy ive seen with my own eyes.
alot of the jw kids (not all) ive been around acted "worldier" than the average person.
it sucked.

I could just kick myself for all the time I wasted being a good little J-Dub. I really believed that crap. I could've spent that time sampling various birth canals, but no. I was too busy being one of Jehovah's Witnesses, speaking out in fearlessness. Why me? -

Maybe John Lennon was on to something when he wrote Imagine.
