  Big events/developments which Bible failed to foresee!

  though bible made prophecies about “wars and rumors of war, famines and earthquakes, and persecution, hatred …” as signs of “last days” (mathew 24:6-11) which are neither specific nor extra-ordinary given the history of such events, it failed to foresee the positive development such as communication revolution (e.g.

  tv, internet, mobile phone …) which is also favorable to preaching activity—the whole world can be preached to within a matter of hours.

  [bible writers thought it would take at least 21 centuries for the whole world to be preached to.—mathew 24:14].

  One big glaring thing that the Bible never talked about which bothered me was the rise of the Khans.

  Killed more of the population of the planet than any other empire.

  Did Jesus pre exist? Yes or no?

  when i first became a witness, i always found the teaching about jesus being the arch angel michael hard to swallow.

  i did however believe that jesus pre existed as a master worker alongside god (the first of his creation).. but now everything is brought into question having watched anthony buzzard explain why jesus could not have pre existed as it is impossible to pre exist yourself.

  also the fact that it all sounds contradictory to suggest, he was already alive millions of years before he was transferred to mary's womb to be born as a human - the son of man?.

  i think the problems the us and russia face are mainly ideological.

  the cold war these two countries have been in needs to be stopped and common sense needs to be applied i hope trump can push thing in the right direction and that he has good advisors.

  i'm all for these two major world military powers to put away their differences and find way to work together on common problems they face.. they need to cooperate with each other even in their cyber warfare.

  The Russians are so good, they got the DNC to sabotage Bernie's campaign. Then they hacked Hilary so she used tiresome identity politics and neglected all those Rust belt states. Man those Russians are good.

  If the situations were reversed and DJT won the popular vote and Hillary won the electoral college, the regressives would be praising the electoral college, saying that it "saved" our country from a Trump presidency.

  In Cuba it seems to "work" okayish. I've been there myself. Although people are poor (in our view) they don't seem to mind much, they have what they need. Capitalism does increase overall wealth though. But it also needs a lot of regulations and control, otherwise (big) companies optimize for themselves (monopoly abuse) or form a cartel. It's not black/white.

  Cuba? Really? You're going to hold Cuba up as a shining example and just completely ignore their human rights abuses?

  Oh wait. I forgot. You're in favor of communism. I should have known you wouldn't care about human rights.

  The right of the individual to succeed and excel and be rewarded for his or her* work is paramount to my philosophy. When success is penalized by a society, that society is not one I want to be a part of and is one that I will fight against with every fiber of my being.

  recently the extremely smart (so he tells us) but comparatively inexperienced person, elected by the very smart people who live in the usa, to be their president, announced that he was limiting ties with qatar (a small arab state in the middle east) on the grounds that they were supporting terrorism.. and yet, the very next day, he authorises the sale of twelve billion us dollars worth of modern american fighters (f15s) to that small state, in which is located ... .

  " ... the biggest us military base in the middle east, al udeid.

  ten thousand american personnel are there, many of them prosecuting the air war against isis in syria and iraq.

  Are you talking about the United States consuming Chinese goods and thus bolstering the Chinese economy? Because without the consumer market of the US, China's economy would be crap.
