  president trump is definitely a demagogue, a populist, and not a great extemporaneous speaker, just to mention few of his more conspicuous flaws.

  however, i was going along because "it's the economy stupid".

  now that has changed.

  dow jones losing 1175 points today, equivalent to 4.60 % ..... same more or less around the world's stock exchanges.

  it's like president bush said "wall street got drunk and now it's got a hangover".

  i think people went irrational over investing, a correction is needed..

  i’ve always wanted a physical copy but those seem really hard to come by, and if you look online they’re super expensive.

  You go through puberty, and come to find out, you’re attracted to those of the same sex. Because it’s been pounded into your psyche, you feel overwhelming guilt and depression over these desires. You haven’t even acted upon them, but you still feel that way because you’ve been told that homosexuals will not inherit a fictitious kingdom (that you only believe in by accident of birth.)

  You get so depressed over this that the inevitable happens when the brain becomes overwhelmed by negative emotions: your sanity starts to slip. You might start remembering the scripture that says, “The wages sin pays is death...” and that the resurrection will be of the “righteous and The unrighteous...” Then, in your state of mental illness brought on by the ingrained indoctrination you’ve been subjected to, you decide that though suicide is a sin, it’s okay because when you die, you’ve paid for your sins and Jehovah’s going to resurrect the unrighteous too.

  You then decide to take your own life.

  Do you see how these Pharisees’ rules in New York can have control over someone?

  If you think this scenario is far fetched, think again. It’s very close to something similar I went through at one point in my life...even to the point of putting a gun in my mouth. I’m very fortunate that I was able to stop myself and try to just make it to the end of the day.

  JWs don’t break up families

  i get very angry when i hear this claim being made by jws and get even angrier when i read the article they have on their faq section on jw.org which i’ll leave a link here:.

  i know that the majority of this article is written about having a spouse that isn’t a believer and how the bible encourages them to stay together but that’s one of the things that can cause division in a family, for an example if a son or daughter marry a nonbeliever or a worldly person the parents aren’t going to attend the wedding.. once i was told by an elder that if i continued with my behavior of wanting to seek worldly friends and worldly companionship that i would have to leave my home because the holy spirit would leave my house and that would have a huge impact on my family.

  Big events/developments which Bible failed to foresee!

  though bible made prophecies about “wars and rumors of war, famines and earthquakes, and persecution, hatred …” as signs of “last days” (mathew 24:6-11) which are neither specific nor extra-ordinary given the history of such events, it failed to foresee the positive development such as communication revolution (e.g.

  tv, internet, mobile phone …) which is also favorable to preaching activity—the whole world can be preached to within a matter of hours.

  [bible writers thought it would take at least 21 centuries for the whole world to be preached to.—mathew 24:14].

  Did Jesus pre exist? Yes or no?

  when i first became a witness, i always found the teaching about jesus being the arch angel michael hard to swallow.

  i did however believe that jesus pre existed as a master worker alongside god (the first of his creation).. but now everything is brought into question having watched anthony buzzard explain why jesus could not have pre existed as it is impossible to pre exist yourself.

  also the fact that it all sounds contradictory to suggest, he was already alive millions of years before he was transferred to mary's womb to be born as a human - the son of man?.
