  just curious but how do the people off this forum find reddit.

  for myself i find reddit to be sadly lacking in the jw world.

  i just don't find the depth there e.g one sentence replies, trying to be funny.

  i never thought i would see that in the us, a "free speech rally" (which has distanced itself from and organizers have nothing at all to do with the right, republicans or extremism) is being counter protested by thousands in boston today, the counter protests being organized by a coalition of black supremacists and sjw's.. on the other hand, google is building a database of speech that doesn't align with the left-wing political values.. i'm not sure what youngsters are thinking these days, but free speech used to be the cornerstone of american civilizations only a few decades ago.

  the only way to drown out "bad" free speech is more free speech..

  A world-renowed professor in Canada is being forced to choose between his job and his freedom not to use made-up marxists language. DEEPLY disturbing stuff. This is all framed to be about the transsexuals so they can call everyone who oppose this bill a nazi and a hater of those who are different.

  You are allowed free speech here, imagine if Simon suddenly dictated what words you had to use? Now imagine it is the state who makes a list of words you HAVE to use...

  You can't turn this place in your personal safe space and stomp your feet in the ground like an angry child just bc someone else has an opinion on your ill-informed ideas.

  @Simon: You are absolutely right about google. The systematic censorship and firerings of those not sufficiently ideologically pure by big global companies seems to be a new front that is opening up in the culture wars...

  Google, apple, facebook, twitter, Airbnb, WhatsApp... they all seem to be in on it and in unison ready to censor certain ideas while at the same tolerating extremist speech like ISIS or antifa, including death threats!!

  I am not a conspiracy theorist and try my best to be objective but this is some REALLY scary stuff.

  Education, science, the past, our vocabulary, our right to assemble, our right to work... they are all being eroded in front of our eyes while terrorism and the destruction of EU is being tolerated.

  Every day I fear something very sinister is happening.

  Dr. Saad and Dr. Peterson explain how modern academic institutions like Yale, Berkley, Harvard have become breeding ground for un-scientific ideologically driven ideas.

  I think the institutions who push this drivel should be defunded by the government or shut down and instead the government should fund real stuff like science and engineering. The rest is just a waste of resources by Big Academia Inc.... glorified diploma mills where you get your diploma once you believe 117 contradictory absurdities lol!

  @LoisLane: Yes I can! The professor was censored by radical left/SJWs bc he didn't want to use their ideologically pure language (i.e. made up pronouns). He explain why this is important bc it is not like you can't say something but you are FORCED to use their approved words/language...

  He explains why the left/fascists are always trying to control ppls language... he is really scared. He gives an inside view on how universities in the US through their social study programs are churning out MILLIONS of SJW ideologues. Very scary stuff when you think about it!

  He`s a Professor who doesn`t think the Language Laws of Canada apply to him....They do.
  If he thinks the laws are wrong, he can legally try to change them.
  Until then he is required to obey the law, just like the rest of us.
