the archangel, an archangel

i'm reading a book called "what to do when they knock" that goes over the jw book "what does the bible really teach?".

it points out that the "bible really teach" book, on page 218, makes a bit of a point about there being only one archangel.

it says michael is "the archangel" and emphasizes that "the" means only one.

This very point is what got me to look a little closer at the org. so much so I went on another site and boy did I get some witnesses angry....I chose this X witness and I wrote to them because they were no longer a witness but not bitter they just stated the facts about what and who witnesses are...we got to be good buddies, anyway, I wrote to him about Mike being the archangel and they said I was right about he not being Jesus, I quoted this scripture which is from Heb. 1:5, For example, to which one of the angels did God ever say: "You are my son; today I have become your father"? and again, I will become his father and he will become my son?....And another one, Luke 2:21, After 8 days, when it was time to circumcise him, he was named Jesus, the name given by the angels before he was conceived...I have a reservoir of scriptures that can poke that Jesus is Michael the Archangel...and so what if he is...

I could prove heaven from the bible more than I can prove paradise....how many times heaven is mentioned as opposed to paradise ? The reason the org. says Jesus is Mike the Archangel, because it was from another religion and because it wasn't common knowledge as usual the org. adopted this thought just to sound like they know more than anyone else...Just like when the first horseman goes out...the org. thinks it's Jesus when in fact it's one of the 4 horseman to bring destruction...so they say he opens up the scroll, runs out with a bow and no arrow then runs back and open up another scroll and so on....not possible...that'll be a new light one day...if we all live to see it.

Hi,

Just some more smoke and mirrors for the brothers....keeping them moving while standing still...men just like women have to be kept busy too...or it's will be how to handle whatever persecutions are brought up and how to handle and answer the congregation....by any means necessary....Keep the org. name clean...Never heard of a Kingdom Ministry School before...I thought it was replaced by the Christian Life and Ministry....so I would think it would now be called the Christian Life and Ministry School.....

Ever changing org. they change more than butterflies.

LOL LOL...nope I have the Truth in me....the real truth....the bible led me to the truth... witnesses forgot what the core message of the bible...Love God and one another...All their literature is just smoke and mirrors...directed at worshiping the org....

Witnesses are afraid of the truth...that's why they say when you tell the truth...you got the devil in you...lol....it's that I say what they want to say...

What the heck is CLAM?

Hi,

Yes, it's our mid week meeting....it replaced the Kingdom Ministry....so Clam really means clam up and listen and listen oh yes you can dig for gems but only the gems they pick out, if you find any gems yourself different from the what the org. has dug up....then CLAM means....shut up and keep it to yourself...get it... Clam up....lol.

If you want to get a rised eyebrow, point out in the middle of the meeting that the words spell Clam...you get a smile...and they kind of think it's blasphemous...but just wait....when the org. starts to call it Clam then the friends that already saw it or the ones whose heads are in the clouds and can't remember the territory they been preaching in for years...and the ones who act dumb but not...then the friends will say they never thought of that, the brothers are so smart that's why God chose them....the same way most likely they called it the Kingdom ministry and then one day they called it the KM, but the friends dare not say that.

Plus we know that if they say it one may think they are on a xJW site, & don't want to give themselves away...

Don't blame them, JW's leave when they are good and ready.

Here's the real play on words....they have already decided THEY ARE GOD'S PEOPLE....and so the question and answer here is that it's been established the JW'S ARE GOD'S PEOPLE and so with that said, who is in charge of the already claimed and famed God's people, well, no other then us the GB's no The FDS class no, The anointed class, oh heck, what ever the flavor is for now, just know you have been selected as God's people & never you mind who is leading you....JUST DO AS I SAY, BECAUSE GOD TOLD ME SO, BUT REMEMBER, WE ARE NOT INSPIRED NOR INFALLIBLE....SO STAY TUNED....GOD MAY CHANGE HIS MIND OOPS MEANT TO SAY WE/GOD CHANGED OUR MINDS, AND SO WHAT WE CALL IT BRIGHT LIGHT AND YOU SAW IT BEFORE WE DID, BUT YOU BETTER NOT SAY NUTT'IN, BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHAT'LL HAPPEN TO YOU ALL RIGHT!!!

What I have found talking about slavery or anything black related make folks uncomfortable....when we talk about slavery or how the US was built on slavery, nobody wants to admit it...they want us to get over it....but I got a good one for those who want us to get over it...remember 911, folks still up in arms about it...still saying, they came for us, today, they are still holding a memorial for the victims of 911. Because the average American can't believe what happened.....we are America, how could they do that to us...so Americans, like you say to Black Americans, regarding slavery, get over it....so Americans get over it....All that to say, you can't bring up how a black person sees the org, white folks want us to see through the same eyes they have but we can't.

Can any white person during the time of slavery ever had to sit in the back of the hall, only because it was the law. I don't want to go on about this Snowbird, but don't get ruffled when race is mentioned on this site, when blacks comment on any site, we are always told, it's not what we think it is...

All you and I said is something that is a reality....when the illustrations of the anointed where seen they were mostly white....a chick here and there...so after all these years that the org. has been in existence only one black person is worthy.....just think if all the illustrations of the anointed or the entire WT literature was mostly black, what would white folks think....If this is God's org. and God's not partial, why did it take this long to get a black anointed....many people take offense when race is mentioned....but they are the ones that TAKE the offense, we didn't mean to offend....it's like I said, speaking about race makes some folks uncomfortable....it's 2017....it's time we listen to one another's story, whether it be Roman history, Black History, Irish History, we can all learn from one another....

for many of us witnesses that have left either as stricken lost sheep or unlawfully disfellowshiped please consider that our brothers & sisters in the synagogues of kingdom halls are misled & need our help in trying to pull them out of the fire.

the test now on them is about just how they are treating their unlawfully excluded (disfellowshiped) brothers & sisters, as foretold at isaiah 66. at present they sit in judgement on us the growing great crowd who have come out & they are prepared with hard- heartedness to condemn their brothers & sisters to a final everlasting death, by running away as spiritual cowards refusing us a cup of life giving water (truth) matt 10: to explain the apostasy in their temple the disgusting thing in the holy place.

I think this person is really saying that the JW's know so much about the end because they are fulfilling the end...in a negative way...why do they know how the end is going to play out, because they are playing it out...they are the ones going into widows homes and making them worse off than they were..they know so much about the Pharisees because they are the Pharisees....they talk about the clay feet, that's them...the org is melting...lol...

They are aware they are fulfilling the scriptures but they think it's in a helping way...they don't know the damage they cause, no I take that back they do know the damage....they want you to throw anybody under the bus so they and you can get into paradise...

You hit one of the characteristics of some witnesses....as you mentioned, Selfishly, I kept quiet...that's the MO of most witnesses...selfish, want to make it into the new system, and don't care who they step on to do it...The issue with most witnesses they feel safe and comfy in the congregation so, they don't say or do anything to upset their life....because their life is all nice and neat just like their literature...

What I'm finding out about most witnesses that if they are in good standing, even if they know TTATT, and no one steps on their toes, all is well, but let something happen to that same witness...then that's another story...I have read that all over all the x witnesses sites...Many sat there hearing that families are broken up and children die because of blood and so on, and many just sat there like stone, why because, it didn't affect them at the time...but when any of these negative things happen, then folks started to wake up...Now I'm not pointing any fingers, because I was awake when I came in and saw that the org, isn't all that, so I got issues too, but at least when I hear something that doesn't sound right, I don't dismiss it because I'm in good standing,

The org isn't headed by God all by themselves...all churches as messed up as they are, are all headed by Jesus and God....

The problem with illustrations, we all see in the color we are ourselves....so no doubt the art dept. of the org. just got diversified...if at all....

The anointed are men that were not defiled by women....aka: Eunuchs...makes sense that God would choose men that can't be tempted by what gets everybody in trouble....SEX...This time God's angels/anointed will not be tempted by the daughters of men.....wonder why they verse says, defiled by women....so now sex is defiling....I think something got lost in translation...maybe the verse said, men who have never known sex...something like that...sex is not defiling....only rape...

Someone said the level of arrogance proves that the GB are beyond help.....that says it all, and arrogant people are drawn to this religion and that's why it takes so many a long time to see the TTATT...their arrogance...even when they society/friends admit they are wrong, they still have a bit of arrogance about their being wrong....

And we Black folks never learn, we want to be accepted so bad in this society, but we don't pay attention, because we want to be accepted so much....we complain how in balanced our government is racially, yet we join this religion that shows no diversity in who is going to run things in the new system....more duh?

I don't care if this is God's org. or not...and don't care who is in charge, believe or not that's why many stay in the org...it's God's org (wrong as their doctrine is and will be, that's the hook in itself THE BADGE OF HONOR)....Those of us who believe in God shouldn't look to any org. but only in ourselves....we shouldn't put anyone in charge of our spirituality we should be in charge of our own....see when we leave it up to others for us, then we can blame others and we are not responsible...isn't that why many are witnesses or Christians, we can blame the someone else for our shortcomings....we shunned because the org. said we should, we let our child die, because the org. said so, we never helped anyone but ourselves, why ? because the org. told us to....and all along we knew and know it's wrong...

There is no place in this world where you can hear the truth and why do we need to be lead....the truth is not a doctrine or an organization, the truth is in YOU....

Again, many want someone else to be responsible for their actions...like they used to say back in the day, "The Devil made me do it"....so with many of us in the org....we can use that same excuse so we won't be accountable..."The FDS made me do it".

Hi,

Are JW's extremist....ummm, well, they say, follow God not man...maybe they are not extremist to the average person. Once you accept their doctrine it may seem extremist to the government of the country they live in...JW's are taught to follow the laws but don't get involved in politics but what do you call sending letters to a government, that's getting involved in politics....

We all know most religions are in bed with the governments, that's why in the US, you can worship any way you want....Religions in the US can get away with anything and they do....

We all know that in Russia they don't like freedoms, only when the freedoms agree with their agenda...they were communists....duh? Why the JW's want to stay where they are not wanted, oh wait, Russia is DF'ing the JW's, so Russia is saying you can stay but we will ignore you....sound familiar....

No they are not extremist, but the literature makes extremists....

Hi All,

Not to sound partial, but when I began to study and notice the 144,000 seemed too be white males, I said to myself, well the new system is going to be the same....white males running things...why die...Then here comes this black guy that is an anointed one....does equal opportunity ring a bell (another tax break)...did the org. get audited and found out the anointed was not diversified ? They do that in orgs. My place of work was told we were not diversified enough, so we better start adding some color to the place. But to be fair and honest who else could go around the world and buy land, only white folks, black folks still waiting for their forty acres and a mule...No doubt many readers wrote in and asked why no other color are anointed, so they most likely scrambled and found this guy...

Anyway, that's another topic....wouldn't you like to be a fly on the wall of the JW's brain when the sentence is read, we are not inspired nor infallible...wonder what the average JW will really be thinking, I think even the most dug in witness will say in their mind....so If the GB isn't running things then who is? This is what the average thinking person the org. is saying....The org. is just covering their behinds...they are on the internet now...they are going to have to eat some crow....many that may come in now may question many things...and ask their teachers...

But because I'm a witness, this statement or WT, won't mean a hill of beans to the average JW....oh, this statement may shake a few up, but then they will be invited to a gathering and be around the ones they love conditionally and back to business as usual....because, no matter what, It's God's org. even the child molestation issues are exposed, majority won't leave....many of the witnesses that I have spoken to, know of a child molestation issue that wasn't dealt with and also they know it's all over the org, but it's because they carry Jehovah's name....so Jehovah will take care of it...but when they say it, they don't sound so convincing, because don't think the average koolaide drinking witness ain't asking, how long Jehovah, how much longer ?

Many of the JW's are there because they think they are just like the Jews....CHOSEN.....but if they read the scriptures, the Jews are the branch and the rest of us are just grafted in...and if we think that God has forgotten the Jews....read and think again, JW's...

Let's face it many witnesses have a need to be validated and belong and the org. is a perfect place for misfits, if you need a pat on the back being a witness is the right thing to be...even if you read a scripture (even a 4 or 5 year old can do), you get commended....they always say, it's good to be encouraged...the average person out here goes about their day without being commended every minute of the day....but not JW's they complain how they are not appreciated at their job....it's not that, they just want to be patted on the back for just doing their job... Many witnesses suffer from lack of attention...and need a pat on the back all day long...but some are just attention hogs...those are the ones that always have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the meetings....

So, this WT like many others will go over the witnesses heads, but they will think, but won't mention one word to anyone...although, I do have a few in the congregation that will say, so who is running things?
