Hi All,

I'm kind of a newbie...from my observation many stay because of the secure feeling they get...Many may not even had that type of secure feeling in their own home from their own parents, so the environment is good for those who don't know the difference between conditional love and unconditional love....some people don't get no hugs at home so when they come to the hall, they come to you and say, Ahhh, I need a hug, they blame it on the system but it's either because they live alone or who they do live with, they get no love, just spiritual food...the hall is the only place they may get support, so many factors of why folks stay...why do folks stay with an abusive spouse, who knows, only the shadow do...lol...

As someone said many don't want to rock the boat. Many see the ttatt, but no one has stepped on their toes as of yet, but just wait...I'm close to many of the brothers and sisters, and they talk, some even know of a sister or brother whose child was molested and they still come but they are cold towards the org., but still come because to them it's still the truth...why they stay, you would have to ask them...

Most like to be spoon fed and they are, they are safe, they will wake up in paradise, they haven't the guts to endure this world the way it is...all they do is whine...witnesses don't like to be unconvenienced, they want the easy life now, don't want to pay bills, work or anything because they are witnesses. Witnesses can't cope with the real life so they run to the hall...like those who run to meds, when they can't take it...

You ask what were you thinking...that's the ticket right there....they weren't thinking they were being spoon fed and felt safe and that if anything happened to another friend within the org. even if the org. was wrong, most likely the sister or brother were wrong, never to believe the org. was unfair, until...IT HAPPENS TO THEM.

How Many Witnesses Would Really Take Blood?

up until the very end, my mother refused blood.

it didn't matter if it was a blurred line or not, the bible says "no blood"!

i wonder if she was in the minority, in her thinking.

Here's the deal on blood, the bible is full of do's and don'ts...Witnesses are more faithful in that than anything else, their MO is not to do nothing for nobody...so instead of helping someone or be nice to someone the best they can do is the blood issue...They are not faithful with too much else...

But I've heard some stories...one witness left the hospital and came back in disguise....& got blood...

Do they really think God will be pleased with them for denying Blood ? Don't think so...why are there only a few blood types, & if you have the same blood as someone else you could save a life even yours...but here's the deal...only life a witness cares about is their own, they would throw their own family under the bus for paradise...

I had an operation and a blood card....DISMISS...

It's easy to project would you would do, but when it's time to do it...different story...

Witnesses just like to look pious and be martry's (martry's are dead)....

The Watchtower's Real Crisis

when discussing the watchtowers financial problems, i've generally been of the opinion that they probably are not in a real financial crisis.

i've come to believe that money may be something of an issue, but its wrapped up in a much larger problem.

this came to me this morning when reading about the annual meeting.. i think the society's leadership is just plain out of ideas.

What I think...again, what I Think, doesn't have to be true...I think we have more literature and tools than people. The society has given us so much information, we are on overload....when we the monthly magazine, by the time we get the hang of it to present it....then the next issue is in... The literature chariot is moving faster than the org....

The society ran ahead of the scriptures and at the time, they were ground breaking...nobody could debate them at the time....now, the average person who reads can debate most of their doctrine....the new lights would just be scriptures they read too much into...like my favorite...Michael is Jesus...no way...they have too much back peddling to do regarding the scriptures...they are going to start to make it more simple...

New lights are just stuff they got wrong, (Aka: ran ahead of the scriptures). Also, trying to scale down to show WE ARE IN THE LAST DAYS...YOU CAN TELL BY OUR LITERATURE, JEHOVAH TOLD US NOT TO WRITE TOO MUCH...IT'S THE END...

No more year book,. only because too many folks are drinking the wine and crackers....the # is supposed to go down...but they keep going up....the stories are old as dirt...

Now they don't want us to drag along studies for a long time....but what the real deal is that we are bringing in nuts and misfits...many that are coming in are mental....the org. can't handle mentally ill folks...

It's all about the slight of the hand...

As someone said, they are running out of ideas....nothing new...and they are running out of fools, too.

Interesting conversation with JW friend

i was withh a friend of mine who is a jw still and for whatever reason we started talking the bible.

i asked him about lazarus and how is that when he died he paid the price of sin, but then jesus resurrected him.

and i asked him "where is lazarus today?

Yep, that's what I see in the scriptures....but I have one of those type of minds....I find if I keep my sense of humor I can get through this JW thing....

When you come to think of it..nobody wants to die....nobody wants to live so long and be in pain and can't enjoy life but if God/Jesus could bring us back and we could be naked and happy again...why not?

Regarding the mouth to mouth I see in the bible...don't pay me any attention...I like this site because I can say it...can't say it in the hall, even if they find it funny, they'll say, You funny...but what they are really saying....You are not funny...

I can explain Acts 20:9...This is the first mouth to mouth resuscitation....performed by Paul...isn't there another incident in the bible where someone dies and someone lays on them 3 times and they get up...ah, found it...1Kings 17:21-22, Then he stretched himself out over the child three times and called out to Jehovah: “O Jehovah my God, please, let this child’s life* come back into him.” 22 Jehovah listened to E·liʹjah’s request,+ and the life* of the child came back into him, and he revived.*+, now if that don't sound like mouth to mouth resuscitation, I don't know what does...

To me there is nothing doctrinal that will stumble a witness the only thing that will stumble a witness is another witness...only when a witness is mistreated will they acknowledge anything wrong in the society..it's the thief that screams the loudest....

This shows they don't care if it's the truth or not...it's a place where everybody knows your name...

The History is right there...but I bet many of them researched many things, but won't talk about it...

Most JW's are inbred...it's a social club...their doctrine flips and flops...so they know it's the truth...NOW, until a new light...if they were really interested in the truth...Well, folks I'll let you finish that sentence....

I would love to be able to visit that part of the world to find out the real deal...

Having a KH in Israel would be too close to the truth...it would dispel all the FDS class would have to say...Too much real history in Israel...

We would really find out when Babylon was destroyed...

My favorite would be Michael is Jesus...So I would ask, Jesus is Michael the Archangel too? Ok, how would you explain this scripture from Heb.1:The Son was made greater than the angels, just as the name that God gave him is greater than theirs. 5 For God never said to any of his angels, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father.”Nor did God say about any angel,“I will be his Father, and he will be my Son.” 6 But when God was about to send his first-born Son into the world, he said, “All of God's angels must worship him.” 7 But about the angels God said, “God makes his angels winds, and his servants flames of fire.”8 About the Son, however, God said:“Your kingdom, O God, will last[a] forever and ever! You rule over your[b] people with justice. 9 You love what is right and hate what is wrong.That is why God, your God, has chosen you and has given you the joy of an honor far greater than he gave to your companions.” I copied this scripture from the Good News bible...real simple to understand...even if you use NWT, it says the same thing...

I think this Michael/Jesus thing is eventually going to be dropped...These scriptures in Hebrews are very clear...I believe they explained it in the reasoning book...but we don't really use that book anymore...

I have others, but don't want to write too much so nobody will read it.

I was thinking to myself, how the witnesses (I'm one but...) love the fact that the flag was not saluted. You may now see witness carts by the entrance of the players, not the fans...what a hoot...

I love this country as well...but I worship God but respect our country...God bless America, but you got to watch that statement...suppose you move to another country, so now you don't have God's blessing because you left it in America...I say God bless the world...the entire world is in a mess...

I don't know if I read it here but someone said, I'm not a nationalist but an Internationalist, because nationalism promotes war...

I love this country because you can do pretty much what you want...most folks come to the US for the $$$$...and if you want our money you can stand or sit for the anthem...

Trump has a lot of nerve...JUST LOOK AT HIS HAIR...'nuf said...

What exactly is grieving gods Holy Spirit?

John 14:26:But the helper, the holy spirit, which the Father will send in my name, that one will teach you all things and bring back to your minds all the things I told you...So the Holy Spirit is a helper and teaches all things, like Jesus did. So in my mind...grieving the holy spirit is making the Jehovah and Jesus said....but the holy spirit is a force, so maybe if you stop the force from happening....then you grieving it...what about when they use the illustration that holy spirit is invisible like the wind...we don't see the wind but we see the affects of the wind blowing...trees, etc....so if we stop the wind from blowing...we grieving the force...ummm...

The Holy Spirit to me is that the spirit does what we can't do....holy spirit gives you the strength to do the impossible...that's why we have to ask for it...

The only time witnesses call on the Holy Spirit is when they comment on calling on the Holy Spirit...why I know, because most of the witnesses I know don't remember a darn thing...don't even remember the comment they made...

Since so many have a different opinion of what the holy spirit is or who....Who Knows????
