Annual WT plea for cash etc.
by The Fall Guy ini don't know if this topic has ever been covered, but i heard that an elder in a european country rejected a j.w.
's claim that the org asks for stocks & shares in their version (english) of the wt each year.
the elder was appalled at the idea (stock market gambling etc.

given that i turn 60 today means that i graduated high school in 1975. time flies when you are having fun.. i remember the council i got about not worrying about a career because this wicked system was rapidly coming to a conclusion.

We are becoming champions of grief. We lost twin B.
by Darkknight757 inlast week we had a reassurance ultrasound with our ob.
she was just supposed to check heartbeats on the two little ones and they were going strong!
but because she had extra time and she can be quite anal about her work (which is a good thing) she decided to take some measurements.

Never Thought I'd Say This, But I've Found Something to Look Forward to in the Meetings
by Sorry inmy therapist inspired me to start looking on the bright side.
even though i've pretty much given up listening to the bs and usually tune out the meeting by playing on my phone/tablet, i find the local needs talk oddly fascinating.
probably because it's the only part that doesn't seem outlined to death (at least at our hall), and you truly don't know what you get.

Presas v Watchtower
by Richard Oliver inthe plaintiff is cosine persas, at the time of the filing he was in jail and started this action pro se, which is without a lawyer.
when a pro se lawsuit is filed the federal court screens the complaint as a matter of course to determine a few things, that would include, to see if the lawsuit is malicious in nature, if the complaint did not state a claim on which relief can be granted and if the defendant is immune from a lawsuit.
this screen occurs automatically and does not require the defendant, watchtower, to file any motions.. persas makes the allegations that he was abused by a person named rosa who he met through the congregation.
