I actually understand your situation cause I'm in same situation. I have a disability and got some money for it. I moved to abroad were life is cheaper. I'm alone here. JW congregations are the same everywhere probably. Very hard to get into and people very suspicious of others. It's not really difficult if you wanna return to JWs cause your family is there. It's not like it was 20 year's ago this org. Members see meetings more as social gatherings and usually don't talk about spiritual things with other JWs. There are few hardcore JWs this days. Plus with zoom meetings you can have regular life being inside the org. This org is nothing like it was 20 or even 10 years ago.

I'm sorry but having pity for yourself is a big no-no in JW land. It's even been subject in the watchtower litteratur. They think it's lacking faith. I have cure different health problem using alternative medicine. Event just using imagination. Thinking abouth becoming a prepper also. Lost of information on the internet. But if you want the advice they gonna give you in a kingdom hall without even stepping into the hall? They gonna tell you pray to God for help. -

by neat blue dog inwe are pleased to inform you that, where possible, the 2021 circuit assembly with the circuit overseer (ca-co) program and the 2021 special meeting with regular pioneers, special pioneers, and field missionaries program will be broadcast via a product called jw stream–studio.
this product will allow attendees to watch a live stream of their circuit’s programs from their homes.
if this provision will be used in your circuit, the circuit overseer will provide further information to the elders.

admittedly, i live in a country that is covid free, although the local dubbies are still following the advice of not meeting in the hall.
with the death of my fathers friend, the local boe must have had a change of heart.

What Are Jehovah’s Witnesses Like Nowadays?

after my mother passed away a few years ago, i pretty much lost most contact with the witnesses.
a couple that were family friends for many years stopped checking on me to say hello.

They were not active outside preaching before convid. I always saw mormon. JWs only sat with litteratur stands. They been sliding down from the 90s.

Are there more Bethel layoffs in the immediate future?
by LongHairGal ini just saw a post on reddit: ‘wt are prepping the r&f for changes in the march/april meeting workbook’.. in the post the person noted what they read (for march 8) and it mentioned bethel adjustments and reference was made to 2015 when bethelites were let go.. if this happens (yet again) another bunch of people are being sent home to fend for themselves in the big bad world at an advanced age with little to no preparation.
even though this doesn’t surprise me, it could not come at a worse time with a global pandemic and massive job loss everywhere..congregations are already in turmoil because of so many who reached retirement age totally unprepared because they were told armageddon would be here before they reached that age.
this is in addition to all the other ‘needy’ and troubled types in the congregations looking for as$istance.. i hope any bethelites there have a plan and some people they can contact.

How much do Elders actually get along with each other?
by Davros ini was reading in the shepherding book that elders should “ cultivate and maintain friendships with one another.”, and thought to myself “bulls$it!” i remember that most of the elders in my old congregation were nothing but nasty asses.
i know it may vary from congregation to congregation, but do elders generally get along with each other behind closed doors in elders meetings?
or, are they often in conflict with each other?

Two things make me unsure if documents.
One if understand it right is JWs inactive being kicked out of congregation. Can't imagine org wanna suddenly drop what could be 100000 s of members. I think they are that many. Think of the donations org will have to do without.
The other thing is telling the congregation that org maybe won't be around. They would never do that. They just lie and lie everything is great the whole time will selling out everything.

So they gonna have a worldwide meeting about some water in small town USA? Think the documents are fake. Or possible tampered with. Have happened many times now. Don't know if it's the borg or some JW screwing around with exjw community. I have seen it increase for some time now.
