What is your status (as of today) as a Jehovah's Witness?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inactive believer...still attend meetings, go out in field service, believe it's ''the truth''.
active non-believer... go to meetings and field service to please family... living a double life .
inactive believer...don't attend meetings but believe it's the truth, one day might go back to kingdom hall.

Think there was some stuff about not continuing the magazine years ago. Current events and such, people could just Google any information they wanted. No need for awake.

Do JW women expect LESS from their man than Non-jw women?
by pistolpete innon-jw women usually expect their man to have some type of social status.
whether it's education, money, fame, etc.. these days, feminism also plays a role in a future, marriage.
(the man is not the head, maybe the women is the head).

Longhairgirl Agree up to middle of 90 s around there title pioneer was important. Don't think it's the case last 15 years or more. Back in the 80s half congregation could be pioneers. Does time's are long gone. Status of online elder or pioneer is not gonna be that appealing to many. They notion of making 'career' in the organization felt always weird to me. Plus it was false also. Go to bethel and stay there to new system comes. Just promises undelivered.

Think people in congregations this day's wants the same thing as non JWs. Status and money. Plus they also want to give the appearance they spiritual strong. It's a complicated balance act. No wonder most JWs are depressed.

Well Tony Morrison told everyone this is it. This is what we been waiting for. Meaning the convid and start of tribulación. They probably think this is the end and are selling everything. In my crew the one that supplies the booze decides what we do in the future 😉

Drastic Upcoming Changes? (accelerated by the pandemic)
by JWTom ingood to see you again!
much discussion now about the fallout that is coming due to impacts of the pandemic combined with the long-term downward spiral of jw.org.
i am active as a pimo and my wife is pimi....much of our personal conversation and conversation with others in jw land focuses on how things will play out for jw.org in the next 12-24 months.

Whole society is making big changes in technology and robotics. 5 year's from now we probably see Macdonald with much less employees. The organization can recibe donations online. If they keep counting hours for pioneers, it can be done online. The real preaching work for years now has been done by JW.org. Door to door has been mostly the big campaigns to invite the public to assemble. They invited everyone in the district. But when you visited the assembly, you saw mostly JWs there 😁

They not going back to before pandemic. Organization has been going downhill from abouth the middle 90s. This is there opportunity to make drastic changes. They lost control of elders and going online will give GB more control over congregation. They can sidestep the elders that way. Plus they been complaining for years abouth DFing people for small things. If they go online basically congregation arrangements will stop to exist, no need to DFing people anymore. CO arrangement haven't improved anything in congregations. They most likely remove it. Who knows what will happened if they go online. If it's gonna be good or bad. Continuing like they have before pandemic will destroy them.
