Letters too the congregations in book of revelation talks about lot's of reason why the light was removed from congregations back then. Maeby if Splane read his bible he wouldn't have promoted the crazy idé about overlapping generation.

I have a real problem with this one. Jesus said follow his steps closely. Never read in new testament about people living in convents. Paulus workt. Why should a person living in a convent put his faith on God? He already has food and living place set up for him. What about staying up to date about regular lives JWs in congregations live? How can you understand there problems if you live a sheltered life for decades. JWs in congregations trying to live according too bible principals( work for there food) live under the rules of People living in a convent ( live with help of contributions). It doesn't seem bíblical.

Annual service report - yet another analysis - big trouble for the WTS
by FFGhost inthere's already been a couple of threads on the 2021 report with insightful comments, but i'm vain enough to want to start my own topic with some additional thoughts..... as others on the other thread noted, it's useful to compare the 2021 numbers not only to 2020 but also 2019 (the last non-pandemic report).. there are some really troubling (if you're a wt headquarters guy) news in the latest report.. 1) baptisms plummet.
2021 - 171,393. baptisms dropped 20% in 2020, and 30% more in 2021. the total drop from 2019 to 2021 is an amazing 44%.. one could argue that without in-person assemblies and conventions you'd expect baptisms to drop.
but....if someone really wants to get baptized, jws will find a way.

Don't know jw gonebad. I think Watchtower end gonna be like this. I'm not really making fun of the end of watchtower. Cause watchtower always made fun of other groups when it went bad for them. And like they say,,,,karma is a bit@#. I'm just pointing out a fact. -

Ask elder advice about what? Everything is written in watchtower library. Use as google for any subject. There answer to any question is pray more, read bible more or go out in field service more. There only job to me is a control mechanism GB use to force there will over congregations. Like GBs own little spyware in Cong. Checking nobody is thinking for himself or don't compare watchtower teachins too what bible say. I mean it's forbidden for JWs to speculate or have another opinion on spiritual things then what GB has. He can't really study the bible and teach thing's from the bible. Cause if things are not according to org teachings it's gonna be considerad as apostasy. So what's the point with elders. Everything else in a congregation can be done by systers or 19 year old brother. Meaning see if territory is preach or open kingdom hall's. Crazy org 😂

Think back in the 30s this org was change to a preaching cooperation. After that does in GB were not much interested in agape. Everything was abouth hours. Every appointment was base on how many hour field service. Rutherford was the man behind lots of this ideas maeby.

by DoubtingThomas ini have been on m any different forums, and only carm is similar to this.. all the rest have rather hypocritical trust in god.. this and carm are for those who apostate to the wtbs and to god.. turned off by the gb, or hypocritical examples in the congregation, they drop worshiping god and their belief in the bible... for they know too much,.
that's why scripture isn't discussed, and jws like me, are demonized.. i am cool with that!
maybe some of you will come to their senses!.

As a still in JW, im in doubt what to do. Do understand this org is part of Babylon now. Its a risk being in this org. My idé is leaders gonna be held rsponsible for this mess. But i could be wrong. Yeah unsure if i should abandon org or not. Hard decision 🤔

When it comes to charisma, intelligent and education, they seem to be same level all of them. But Morris family i read are wealthy. That counts a lot in this org.

Has the GB been hijacked by Tony Morris? Hes the host many times on jw videos. Saying GB members wanting him too host. Many decisions taken by GB are things i heard Tony Morris talk about in his speeches years ago. How you should only marrie appointed brothers. Baptism of children. Appointments of younger JWs. His hate for homosexuell in jw videos. I'm starting to wonder if he's taken over GB and makes the decisions. I have met some elder brothers with serious mental problems. Only reason they become elders was them being pioneers. They are really hard to get rid of after they have received a appointment. Morris gonna be around giving speeches and taking decisions for a long time ;-)

Bet they gonna say this 20 year olds read there bible everyday and are very spiritual 🙂. Next thing for org is baptise babies. Think its on the way. Im happie i became inactive and stop going to meetings.

Wow really weird. They are truly desperate. In ways i can understand this one. If they go online and have zoom meetings basically an elder is person that can turn on zoom and stuff. Younger people are better with apps. Let's see what happens. There were letter like this about elders helping the young to grow back in the 90s. A lot of them actually. Didn't go anywhere. Elders wouldn't let go off power. Bet you not much gonna change this time.
