The only change before convid was there were gonna be more ' loving' to ex jw. So they come back to org. They were bombing with Watchtower article abouth issue. Probable as so many JWs were dropping out. That was before convid. This days with zoom meetings, how you gonna know with person in congregations is fader if you don't meet in kh? Jws have short memory when it comes to who is brother or not cause of df arragment. It's been TWO years without meetings. How Many JWs You think remembers with persons came to kingdom hall? 😁 Two freaking years online. How they ever gonna return from this.

Are JW's Sins Forgiven? NO - (Says the Watchtower)
by Sea Breeze inanyone who has been of this forum in the past few days has seen doubting thomas (an active jw) refuse over and over to provide even one scripture that can show how a jw can get their sins forgiven while outside of the new covenant as described in mt.
26: 27-28. yet, he claims to believe in the blood covering of jesus while at the same time personally rejecting the new covenant "for forgiveness of sins".
his contradictory claims are common among jw's.

Road to nowhere
Back in the 90s when i was out preaching, i just gave people broschures out in the street. Understood that people were bussy and not happie when i knocked there door. The only listning were does lonly and in need to talk with someone. They were not really interested. Couldent understand why we still were going door to door. Atleast in Europe. Watchtower is a very very slow and sluggish org. After i seen jw Broadcasting and who the GB are, i understand why 😁. But they are not the amish. When society changes, org sooner of later does too.

Nope. They have already said this virus is something we have to live with rest of our lives. Its changing how people have contact and such. This would have happend with out convid. With all tech and internet, people were starting to have much less personal contact with others years ago. Going door to door was something that wasent working before convid. People usually don't like to be disturb at there home. Its just out dated in the modern live style. They wanna recibe information from the Internet. Society always moving foward with it's changes. The 70s or 80s are gone.

David Splane...''Put Up a Hard Fight for the Faith''
by RULES & REGULATIONS indavid splane comes out firing and is relentless as to the reasons why christianity was brought down.
christianity was not broken down by persecution, but by false brothers and apostate teachings.
today, jehovah's witnesses face the same danger from false brothers and apostates.

Letters too the congregations in book of revelation talks about lot's of reason why the light was removed from congregations back then. Maeby if Splane read his bible he wouldn't have promoted the crazy idé about overlapping generation.

I have a real problem with this one. Jesus said follow his steps closely. Never read in new testament about people living in convents. Paulus workt. Why should a person living in a convent put his faith on God? He already has food and living place set up for him. What about staying up to date about regular lives JWs in congregations live? How can you understand there problems if you live a sheltered life for decades. JWs in congregations trying to live according too bible principals( work for there food) live under the rules of People living in a convent ( live with help of contributions). It doesn't seem bíblical.

Annual service report - yet another analysis - big trouble for the WTS
by FFGhost inthere's already been a couple of threads on the 2021 report with insightful comments, but i'm vain enough to want to start my own topic with some additional thoughts..... as others on the other thread noted, it's useful to compare the 2021 numbers not only to 2020 but also 2019 (the last non-pandemic report).. there are some really troubling (if you're a wt headquarters guy) news in the latest report.. 1) baptisms plummet.
2021 - 171,393. baptisms dropped 20% in 2020, and 30% more in 2021. the total drop from 2019 to 2021 is an amazing 44%.. one could argue that without in-person assemblies and conventions you'd expect baptisms to drop.
but....if someone really wants to get baptized, jws will find a way.

Don't know jw gonebad. I think Watchtower end gonna be like this. I'm not really making fun of the end of watchtower. Cause watchtower always made fun of other groups when it went bad for them. And like they say,,,,karma is a bit@#. I'm just pointing out a fact.

With the current discussion if someone in his twenties can be elder or not. I'm interested in what a elder in jw land really do. All speeches already come in video format from headquarters. Ask elder advice about what? Everything is written in watchtower library. Use as google for any subject. There answer to any question is pray more, read bible more or go out in field service more. There only job to me is a control mechanism GB use to force there will over congregations. Like GBs own little spyware in Cong. Checking nobody is thinking for himself or don't compare watchtower teachins too what bible say. I mean it's forbidden for JWs to speculate or have another opinion on spiritual things then what GB has. He can't really study the bible and teach thing's from the bible. Cause if things are not according to org teachings it's gonna be considerad as apostasy. So what's the point with elders. Everything else in a congregation can be done by systers or 19 year old brother. Meaning see if territory is preach or open kingdom hall's. Crazy org 😂
