Jerusalem was destroyed in 607 BCE as shown by at least one line of evidence namely the historic-biblical-theological fact of the Jewish Exile. which is ignored by WT critics. Daniel's dream in Daniel ch.4 regarding the 7 times of Neb's reign most definitely had a second fulfilment which was of 2520 years understood by many expositors as the Gentile Times. ending in 1914 CE.

The book of Revelation discusses these matters and that is why the aforesaid scholar has developed the theological term - eschatological triennium which highlights those dates of 1914, 1918 and 1919 all confirmed by modern history of God's people.

Current and past scholarship has validated 1914 CE as the end of the foretold Gentile Times or 'times of the Gentiles' and the date 607 BCE for the Fall of Jerusalem during the reigns of the Zedekiah, King of Judah and Nebuchadnezzer, King of Babylon. Former JW's such as Carl Olaf Jonsson had attempted to disprove these two most significant dates in Bible history and prophecy by means of so-called 'seventeen lines of evidence' presented in his published editions of Gentile Times Reconsidered which was a dismal fail as his research - a rehash of SDA scholars from the fifties in Australia misinterpreted the biblical '70 years' of the prophet Jeremiah who prophesied and lived through that momentous period of Exile ending in 537 BCE being of 70 years thus ending in 607 BCE.

then it's all confusing word salad...as in Jesus has been king since 1914, but hasn't sat on his throne to judge yet. They did the same with the faithful slave as in the slave was appointed in 1919 but won't get appointed over all his belongings until after tribulation. They just twist these scriptures to fit whatever scenario they want and the r and f eat that hog wash all up. The scriptures about the faithful slave was twisted and lifted out of context decades ago-we were just too gullible to catch on.

Utter nonsense. The matter is simply explained in WT publications. Jesus was enthroned in 1914 and later in his reign as King will carry out a specific assignment as described in Matt 25:31 of the separating of the sheep and the goats. Such an understanding of prophecy is eschatology at its best using the best principles of exegesis and eisegesis.

the usual solution for failed prophetic dates has been to kick the can down the road.

this needs to be done with 1914. the generation that will never pass away is now 110 years old and therefore is past its useful life span.

Well, 17 lines of evidence indicate something fishy for if 607 BCE is truly wrong then it would take one line of evidence. The fact of the matter is that not one of these lines of evidence is based on the Bible so this corpus of so-called lines of evidence belongs in the trash can.. It takes only one line of evidence to prove 607 BCE as I have already explained in a previous post.
